I was looking for a sturdy bolster type bed that would last for several years. I wasn't looking for a miracle, but I was looking for one that would replace the incredible bolster bed I had that finally wore out. (I can't find that bed anymore, otherwise I would have bought it at any cost.) I purchased what looked liked a comparable replacement, a bed that looked chock full of filling waiting for my dog to snuggle in comfort. What I got was a bed with minimum padding, that after two days of use starts to ball up on the bed.Pros: Fabric is good quality, with a nano dirt resistant technology. The small bed was the right size for my 58 lb. dog. The bed portion does have a zipper on the outer fabric and comes out for cleaning.Cons: Like I said, not enough filling to make this bed comfortable for my dog. She tries to fluff it up by scratching it, but to no avail. If there was a zipper in the filling insert, I could add more filling, but they didn't provide that. For the price, that should have been a no brainer.Bottom LIne: Really not worth the money. I guess I'll keep looking.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! I'm so angry about this purchase, and even more angry that I did not immediately return this dramatically overpriced bed!

I purchased one of these beds from Petco.com on sale (same color, small size). Very well made and it *does* resist stains and odors. Washes up like a dream and retains its shape (pull the batting cushion out of the cover and throw cover and the rest in the wash). The dogs and the cat like the bed so well, I bought two more (again, on sale at Petco.com, huge discount when on sale and got free shipping).Besides having pets of our own, we've been involved with foster care for over a decade and have been through quite a few beds ... these have held up like no others in the past. The small size works well for my 15-pound Apsos. Definitely recommend ... and will definitely buy again when the need arises!

I purchased this bed about 3 months ago and haven't had to wash it yet! It really does stay clean and doesn't smell. My dog loves to curl up in her lounger bed and it doesn't get lumpy like other dog beds. She uses this bed so much, that I purchased 2 more for other rooms in the house. Great product. I recommend this bed to anyone who appreciates a quality product.
