Cheap, but nice
Look, they are cheap. I wouldn't want to use them over 50lbs. But they still feel pretty sturdy. They do have non-metalic ball bearings, although are usually a few balls shy of being fully packed.(I ruined the first one trying to modify it to work with paracord, so I got a second one and modified it, and used roller balls from the first one to fill up the bearing races on the second one!)Would not reliably grab 550 paracord because it's too skinny, but I ground off the farthest out tooth and increased the closure travel by elongating the the motion-limit slot inside the bottom. The short of it: Not for 550 paracord, not super great quality, but very nice for the price.Seemed to grab larger cord just fine.

Great for your kayak.
Have used 4 of these on my kayaks over the last 5 years and they work great. Just have to make sure you don't tighten the screws too much when installing.

holds tight
Securely holds my 1/4" rope, unlike the first one I ordered. Easily mounted.

anchor system
I used this to hold the anchor on my kayak when deployed. It holds super well even in a stiff wind.

good value for the price
not the highest quality but the stainless steel ones cost 4 times more. they work well. these things are called cam-locks, not cleats.

Works perfectly for securing our kayak
Nothing dramatic. I tightened the bolts a little too much initially so that the springs didn’t snap back strongly, but loosened them a 1/4 turn and it worked perfectly

Va servir pour mon ancre de 10 lbs pour mon kayak.
Pour moi il est juste correct comme grosseur et la largeur aussi. Et très facile a l'attaché avec 2 boulons avec 2 écrous .
