Lightweight and the perfect size! I only wish they were made with YKK zippers!
I have been using packing cubes for the longest time. Prior to using packing cubes, I could barely manage to fit a week's worth of clothes in a carry-on, but with them, I can easily pack for two weeks! Our long time set was from eBags, they were great and sturdy, available in a wide range of colours so that every member of the family could have their own set. Over the years, I've managed to get packing my family's luggage down to a science, and found that I didn't actually need the larger sizes our set of eBags had to offer, instead, opting for the smaller pouches. Yet I found that I didn't like the overall construction and as our packing got lighter and lighter, I began to feel that the material of the bags were simply adding "too much bulk and weight" than I had wanted.I then stumbled across these at our local REI and was immediately in love. They're super lightweight (possibly the lightest on the market) and water-repellent, so if you're going on an adventure, these will provide an extra layer of protection from the elements. The pouches themselves are designed to not open all the way, something that I found annoying with my eBags. I actually prefer the half-zip design of these as they really allow you to shove clothing into the base of the pouches. My only wish is that these were YKK zippers! The handle on top allow you to simply pop these into hotel drawers and pull them out with ease, and unlike my eBags, I find that the two pouches provided are absolutely perfect for my carry-on!Quick Tip: I have purchased these in the Hexagami print, Brilliant Blue, Flame Red, Black, White, Beet, and Purple, so we have certainly built up quite the collection. BUT there is a reason for this (not to be confused with an addiction)! Each family member has their own respective colour and we typically like to pack each suitcase with at least one pouch for each family member. This way, if anyone loses their luggage, we will have at least a change of clothing on hand for each person!

Eagle Creek Nails It
Two thumbs up and 5 stars. Top notch construction, quality zipper and slick rip stop material which made for pulling out and sliding into the suitcase really nice. This kit fit perfically in our carry on Europe size 17" suitcase. The shirt packit system came with printed picture instructions on the material on how to use the folding board just as in case you have a laps in memory. The Eagle Creek pack it system was a great suggestion from a friend for our 28 day trip to Spain. I was a little skeptical but traveling for work and digging through clothes on my trips led me to believe that a packing system would be beneficial for staying organized and being able to pack more. We had to pack light and the Speckter packing system helped keep everything organized and compact. Shirts and pants were nicely folded with the help of the folding board and remained realativrly wrinkle free compared to just putting them in the suit case on their own. I was able to easily pack 6 shirt and 2 pairs of pants. I could have doubled the qty due to the clothes compressing design. The smaller sacks were great to keeping underwear, socks, scarfs and shorts in their place which proved helpful when we received a random bag search. Officers just pulled the bags out of the suitcase, unzipped, looked and zipped back up. Clothes still nice and tidy unlike the others in line who had to repackage a jumbled mess. No fun when trying to catch an airplane.I plan on buying 1 each of the smaller bags in this system and a shoe bag to round out the packing system for any size trip I have in the future.

Benefits outweigh the costs ...
So I recently purchased these for travel and was able to quickly put them to use with a 6 day trip to Aspen over new years. I would say they have more pluses than minuses:Pluses:-Easier organization, your underwear can stay with your underwear, your t-shirts with other t-shirts. gone are the days of a messy search on day 5 or your trip for a clean pair of underwear.-Compression, I felt like I was probably able to fit more clothes into my carry-on than normal. I did 6 days in aspen with a backpack and a carry-on. This isn't abnormal, but I was able to bring a lot of different shirt and pant combo's than normal. Which was good considering I would have to cover everything from nice formal wear for new years eve to comphy lounging clothes for after the mountain.-You can set up a "System" I like order in my life, so these fit in very well. When it was time to get ready I just grabbed my toiletry kit, a t-shirt from my shirt packing cube, a fresh pair of undies from that cube, and the shirt and pants from the folding cube. When it was the end of the day the dirty clothes made their way to my travel laundry bag and we could repeat the process the next day.Minuses:-The first one was that the pull on the zipper of one of the bags broke off immediately. That didn't really affect the product that much though.-They don't open up all the way in a clam shell fashion, so if you want the t-shirt from the "bottom" of the bag you have to unpack then re-pack the cube to get to it.-Hard to fit together in a carry on, this was probably my biggest issue with these, yea they help compress and organize clothes, but they don't "jigsaw" together well in a bag, so I found that I probably wasted a decent amount of room in the recesses of my carry on. I will still use these for sure, but maybe I need to figure out a little better solution for making them fit together. In conclusion, they helped with a recent 6 day trip to keep me organized and compressed, but they don't fit in a carry on like I had hoped :/ Still a worthwhile purchase.

Good but pricey.
The set really works well and the one that holds the shirts is very neat. However the high price prevents full marks. I really cannot see a justification for the price would suspect would be buyers might go for cheaper solutions.

small lightweight and compact
When weight matters, this pack it solution from Eagle creek is light as a feather and I can pack tons of clothes on weekends and short trips. I love all eagle products and I will be buying another pack of these. I managed to hold 3-4 dresses. 4 vests, 4 shorts, 2 sets of bikinis, underwear in the two cubes.

Great for Caravan
This may seem daft, but we mostly use it for the caravan. It means everything just gets taken out of a bag and placed in caravan. Most caravan do not have drawers so these just sit there with all our clothes nice and packed.I also use them to travel as well.I have bought other brands which are cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
