I've had my flag pole for over 25 years. I've used it at all the houses we bought and sold. The ball at the top of the pole broke off years ago, so really, a mount like this was the only option open to us. It went on super easy. It's installed high enough to prevent someone from being able to walk up to it and steal it at night, and it's super bright. Our property has a true east to west setting, so it gets plenty of sunlight throughout the day to get a full charge every day. It doesn't turn on until it is definitely dusk. The sensor is so sensitive, that when I pull into our driveway, the headlights will make it turn off while I'm coming up on the flag pole. The solar panel doesn't look butt ugly either. I can't wait to see it on my flag at night when there's a strong enough breeze to make the flag wave. Even with the flag just laying, it's well illuminated. It's well made, using all metal components for mounting it to the flag pole.

I am pleased with this purchase. It was an easy installation, and it is still keeping my flag illuminated after several months (much of it inclement weather.) Appears a quality product.

It is very nice. Got it for my husband for Father's Day. It is good quality, a good amount of light, we installed on flag pole so solar panel and light would be closer to the flag. My only complaint is that the opening to put the flag pole in was too big for our flag pole. My husband and son used a wood dowel to make it workable. I wish they would include some type of adjustment for smaller (actually regular size) flag poles. Our neighbor had the same issue. We made it work and it has been great. I would recommend it.

Old Glory shines bright!

This light is great. I like that I have the option of mounting it on the flag pole. I noticed when trying to use it for the traditional 3x5 outdoor flag mounted to your house/fence it is a little big; I suggest using the garden stake provided to shine the light up at your flag. 2 light brightness settings is convenient.

I just got this today and it was easy to install, I have it set on the bright light setting and it lights up my flag really nice. I only had the solar light in the sun for about 4 hours so im sure it won't last all night but it is nice and bright now for about the last 3 hours. It will be in the sun all day tomorrow, will see how long it lasts then. I'm very happy with this light so far and it was in that $50.00 range, the quality appears to be good considering it came from China. I would recommend this light for your flagpole or for accent lighting. That 2nd picture it showing how I have the light and solar panel placed, I did place 2 pieces of rubber between the mounts that have adhesive on 1 side so that the metal from the solar lights is not in contact with my flagpole and they stay in place very nice by only tightening the nuts only as tight as can get then with just my fingers. Update: as of today (June 22 2023) this solar light has been up for 2weeks now and I have the light set on the high setting, it stayed on nice and bright all night till 4:48 am when the sun was just coming up here in Cross Lake, Minnesota, I think this is the best solar powered light for your flagpole, I highly recommend it.

I purchased this product for my American flag, light pole in my country yard. There is no lights where I am in the country, and I wanted my American flag to be bright as I am a true American. I originally had purchased a light that only went on the ground, but it was not bright enough, and then purchased this product which you can stake into the ground or you can put on the flagpole itself with attachments, it was super easy to attach to the flagpole itself and has two different light settings low and high seem to illuminate the flag very well however, currently in Wisconsin, there is several hours of darkness approximately 13 I would say it is super bright off the bat, but then, when I leave for work in the morning at approximately 6 AM, it is still dark The flag is no longer illuminated how I would like to have it, and honestly is not illuminated at all. However, if you do look at the light itself, you can see that there is still light coming from the light. Currently, I’ve had it mainly on the high setting, and I’m wondering if this is why This is happening on the low setting I’m assuming that it would last longer overall the entire night however, it would just not be as bright

On a sunny day, the light may last only 5 ~ 6 hrs, certainly not nearly enough to get through the night. On somewhat cloudy or overcast days it lasts only a few hrs. Additionally, the light dims very quickly. My flagpole is only 13 ft tall and the lamp is about 2 ft from the bottom of the flag. Initially it does a good job of lighting the flag, but dims way too quickly. I do not recommend this product.Update 2024-Feb-19 - After several weeks of use the light lasts the entire night without diming. I don't understand why, but must nonetheless upgrade my rating to 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  So after researching online for hours I finally went with this product for our 25'ft titan pole. Really really happy with this light. Never had a issue. Installation was super easy. It fit the pole perfectly. Used the hardware that came with the kit and had no issues. We get a lot of compliments. The light stays on for all night l10 or maybe 14 hours)...even when it's cloudy. It's amazing. Checkout my non edited raw video taken from my Samsung s10 phone.
