My husband has a mitt of a hand
My husband was in need of mittens because when he uses his snow blower his fingers would get so cold. He has big hands so he measured and the guide said size Large would fit him . I read the reviews and a few buyers stated that they went up a size because like my hubby thick fingers lolSo I mentioned it to him he agreed so we went with XL and they fit perfectly. He'll wear a thin pair of finger gloves inside of them in the event he needs to take mittens off. Gloves are good quality, hasn't snowed in our neck of the woods yet so can't speak on warmth and waterproof claims but again review of one couple that went and climbed a mountain and thats probably the best review you can go by as far as quality.... Thanks to the reviewers, my hubbies old hand will be kept safe and warm.

Best mittens I've owned
I first checked out these at a local store but they wanted over $100 for them. The pair I received are not identical to the one pictured and probably old model from previous years. That said, they do a great job at a third of the price I would have spent locally. They keep my fingers warm, even a little too warm since my hands get sweaty. They are my go to now whenever I go for my walks in the cold Maine winters.

Good purchase.
I bought two pairs ( his and hers ) for Antarctica. These were mid range price " which I liked " Used them for 14 days and was completely happy with there performance. They kept my hands very warm and dry in 24*F weather. The only down side was we got drenched on a expedition going on land. The mitts are not water proof only water resistant. They will leak if completely soaked. This only happened one time and the rest they were great. Great choice and price.

Excellent Mittens
I could not be more happy with these mittens! They are warm, and the length stops any wind from filtering in. The sizing runs small. My hand measures 10" which would be a large, but the XL fits me perfectly. I highly recommend these!

motorcycle riding in less than ideal weather.
I have bad circulation in my hands and I ride motorcycle (street) year round. Sometimes the weather (before wind chill factor) gets down to 19/21 degrees. I wore a pair or seal skin’s under these gordini’s and they were a little tight. The next day just the gordini’s and my hands were almost sweating around 50 degrees with wind chill. I can’t wait till it gets colder. I have a good feeling about gordini’s down mittens.

Great!
I prefer mittens and I wear size XXL. This was one of the few mittens I could find in an XXL. I was worried because I was looking for something at a higher price point, basically I wanted the best that money could buy (usually closer to $200), but this was the best I could find in XXL during the pandemic. I took these skiing in Western Canada and they were fantastic. Temps went down to -15C and I never once had cold hands. They also remained dry, I was very impressed with the moisture wicking ability.I usually wear a thin glove inside my mittens and then put hand warmer packs in as well. I had to remove the hand warmer packs and the inner gloves as my hands were getting to warm. Basically, these mittens on their own kept my hands warm and dry all day.By the end of the day after 7 hours of skiing, a bit of sweat accumulated inside the mittens, however, always by the next morning they were completely dry again just by leaving them on top of the dresser (no added ventilation required to dry).Very impressed for the cost. Best value for your money mittens I have ever purchased.

Good walking mitts.
These mitts use a down (and synthetic down-style) insulation that does a good job if it is not compressed. I wore these, with a pair of liner gloves inside, for a 30 min hay ride in -26° C weather and they kept my hands toasty the whole time. But later on that evening I went to sweep off my truck, and within minutes my fingertips were feeling the biting cold. Basically, the filler looses all of its insulating properties when it is compressed, which happens as soon as you are actually holding something (like a snow brush) in your hands. Also, the gauntlets are barely insulated and are not stiff at all, so get easily crumpled, riding up your wrists if you are doing any activity. These mitts would be great for winter walking. They are lightweight, warm, and very comfortable. But for any vigourous activity, the gauntlets just won’t cut it, and if you need to use your hands to hold anything, they are going to get cold in a hurry.

Don't Pass These Up
Living in Western Canada the winter can get very cold, we've walked in minus 30c and our hands were so warm that we had to take them off to cool down. Definitely worth the price

Very Warm
I was online looking for mitts as the insulation on my 15 year old pair got a little thin especially when using snow shovel and using snow blower in minus 20 degree temps.I seen some down filled mitts that they wanted 170 bucks for them. These mitts here are not that expensive and they are filled with goose down and believe me my hands could not be any warmer. I am ecstatic that I paid little and have mitts that are toasty for shoveling and snow removal. Its so nice when you get a great product at a good deal.
