The book is an eye opener. It is a heartwarming recall of a life lived together and the hope of spending eternity in the afterlife. Well written with Biblical references throughout.

The tragic suicide of a pastor's beautiful wife started a journey of smothering grief, endless questioning, supernatural answers and, ultimately, peace. Pete Deison bears his soul while enlightening the reader with the spiritual messages and lesson that he learned about suicide, grief, dreams, healing and heaven. Though there was a lot of wonderful and insightful information in this book, the emotions are always present. Ultimately, this is a love story: the love of a couple and God's love for them. It is a love story that never ends. It was a very encouraging book on a hard subject.

Support and comfort. Not just for those grieving the death of a loved one, but for those losing their loved ones little by little and coping with understanding and caring for them during this painful transition. I knew God was saying to me, You know I am sovereign. You know I am good. Now trust me with what you do not understand. I am not finished yet. I was holding on to God with two confirmed insights. God is in absolute control, and God is good.

This was an interesting book however in my opinion it was misnamed as there were no VISITS as there were MESSAGES.

Excellent book written by a pastor about his experiences after his wife died. His discussions are Biblically supported. I found a tremendous amount of comfort from reading this book. Highly recommend to anyone who is hurting after the loss of a loved one.

I can't put this book down. It is one of the most moving books I have ever read. He tells his story so well it's like being right there with him. Yet, he also intertwines it with the theological reflections of a pastor. Very few books I have ever read have taken me to the place where it was like this speaks right to where I am, but this did.

VERY INTERESTING

This is a very helpful book for the Christian who is mourning. I have bought it for a friend. It speaks of the certain hope of the Christian.and draws them nearer to God and the loved one who is now with the Beloved Father.
