Poor explanations, weak sources/evidence
Was really hoping this would be a great book since test questions are a great way for me to study but these questions are just not helpful. Questions are poorly worded and the explanations for the correct answers are very lacking/non existent at times. Sources are iffy at best and when you look up the sources, the information is sometimes conflicting with the rationale in the question answer, and a quick search of other academic journals and articles quickly brings up multiple conflicting opinions. I learned more by looking up articles proving this book wrong that I did with the book itself. Made it through just over half the book before throwing it in the trash.I was excited to help support a fellow PT in his side hustle but he should really just stick to treating patients and making a difference in the clinic.Good luck to all of you studying for the OCS test!

Extra practice test
It's a challenging extra practice exam. More challenging than the MedBridge practice is exams in my opinion. The explanations and references are good.I'm sure it's self edited and I don't expect perfection, but there were definitely a few errors that could change context of the question. That's why the 4 stars. But would still recommend for extra practice.

A must-use resource when studying for the OCS!
ACE the OCS is a spectacular resource to use when studying for the OCS. I took this practice test about 1 month before the actual OCS and it really helped me to make my final study plan! The 10 questions at a time layout is great to get into testing mode briefly before stepping back and reflecting on your decision-making while it's still fresh in your brain. Trent did a great job including at least one resource for every question that was written; this was helpful for diving deeper into the research when needed. Even if you aren't going to sit for the OCS exam, this is a great resource for any Physical Therapist treating orthopedic patients!

A must have resource!
A must have resource for anyone taking the OCS! Excellent rationale in the book explaining reasoning behind each correct answer. Also it was nice to see references listed to aid with my studying. Due to the test having the right % of questions in each area, like the actual test, I felt it gave me a good idea where to focus my efforts during the last few months of studying prior to the exam. Price, is right, you'll be happy with the purchase.

Excellent resource for the OCS exam and the lifelong learner!
This book is an excellent resource as you prep for the OCS. The OCS is all about knowing the current literature and Trent does a great job of providing evidence regarding why answers are correct or incorrect. This book not only is helpful for learning and reviewing the material, but also it has been invaluable with my decision making process while treating patients in the clinic. Excellent resource for the OCS exam and the lifelong learner!

Great study tool!
This has been a great study tool with well written questions and explanations for all the answers. I’ve heard that most of the questions are written out in cases like this, so it’s great for practice! It’s good for assessing where you are or for final practice as it gets closer to the exam. I feel more comfortable prepping for the exam using this book. Highly recommend!
