Star Wars The Force Awakens Junior Novel Paperback – February 16, 2016

I like it. Make more. Make one where they find Luke Skywalker. Now. It is a good book. Now write more.

My son really enjoyed reading this book. He finished the entire book in a day and a half. The quality of the book is very good.

Very good book. The writer could, through a simple narrative, tell the most important details and aspects of the story. I understand censorship of certain parts (as it is for young people), but in doing so, they were passed by no less important details of history.However, I liked it more than the adult version (I feel weird to say that).

Okay, while I haven't read the whole book yet because I didn't want to spoil anything before I saw the movie. The prologue and the first chapter are amazing. Michael's prologue encapsulates the history of the Star Wars Saga and the back story to the Force Awakens in a way only a true star wars fan could. It brings feelings of nostalgia and hope for the pages to come. (Okay, I have read a little ahead, I can't stop myself). This is definitely a page turner. Great Job!

Perfect novel for an 8 year old. My daughter loved it (we make her read books before watching corresponding movie so she doesn’t get scared). We also got same junior novel for the Last Jedi and she loved that one too. Has a section in the middle that has several pictures which is nice.

I'm a star wars fan and decided to introduce my son to the saga with this book. Looks like I will be buying more.

Almost word for word matches the movie. However, this book also translates what BB8 is saying, and what other characters are thinking, whereas in the movie, you have to decipher all those thoughts in just long stares. A little more insight into Finn than you might get from the movie. If you can't get to the movie, this can get you caught up on the twists and surprises.

A well written book but the reading level is much harder than the other Junior Novels for Star Wars movies 1-6. My son is in 3rd grade and just finished 1-6, and upon starting this one, it is closer to a 5th grade reading level due to its much more diverse vocabulary. A good book but not a good transition for my son wanting to keep reading all the books.

Book arrived a week earlier then expected. My 11 year old loves.

A smooth adjunct, Kogge's version of "Force Awakens" had a scene that I was glad to read in the book and that should've been in the movie.

Great to refresh memory of the movie with accurate replay of the dialogues. Recommended for anyone who wants to review the exact details of the movie.
