Dr Trouble Lemon Chilli Sauce HOT 250ml, Finest African Hot Sauce

I first tasted this at my sister's house after discovering it in her fridge. Her son brought a bottle back from a trip to Zimbabwe and I was hooked. My nephew later procured two bottles just for me and when I finished those, I felt my life no longer had meaning, or at least no flavor. But then they told me I could find my Dr Trouble online and all was right again. I live with a West Indian who does all of the cooking so we take spice and pepper very (VERY) seriously but to my palate, this is the tastiest sauce there is. The smokiness comes through each drop. Divine.

I have some allergy restrictions and it's been difficult to find an amazing chili sauce that doesn't have lots of preservatives and additional, unnecessary ingredients. This one is perfect... tart and hot. Great on everything I've tried it on so far. Highly recommended!

Pretty decent taste but not very hot ! Chilies are milder

Couldn’t buy the smoked flavor I wanted but the one I did try is also a favorite. The simplicity of the recipe shows the ingredients to their best advantage.

Very strange and bitter flavour.

The Lemon Chili hotsauce is just fantastic. Nice bright, slightly bitter, flavor of lemon balances the mild heat of the chili really well. You can taste the lemon, but not too much. It does taste "bright", so the claim of 100 days of sunshine in every bottle isn't just marketing. You can taste it.Use this hot sauce for it's flavor, not heat. If you just want "burn", this isn't for you. The flavors are balanced and it compliments rich food like avocado or eggs.
