Wire saw
Got the job cutting a problematic bolt.

Diamonds fall off
Diamond coating is not exceptionally durable. Use very light pressure (weight of your hand or less) to prevent diamonds coming off. I'd recommend Eurotool's 60 grit diamond sawblade, which is more durable (still don't use too much pressure) but thicker and doesn't come in 2meter lengths.

Get a different "blade" for dovetails.
This isn't actually that bad of a little saw, especially for entry-level/budget. The diamond wire it comes with is nowhere near aggressive enough for cutting wood - the adjustable spine on this lets you use a different blade though. Search for "spiral saw blades" and they'll make a good companion to this for making dovetails in wood.Pictured: Saw handle, blades I got as replacements, and the chunk of hickory I sawed half a dovetail through with it.

This is just what I needed !
I needed to remove black powder coat from the cogs of a CNC machined aluminum pulley for a RC helicopter so it would fit the stink'n drive belt. I was able to make a little file to grind the black goo out of the cogs, and make the belt fit perfect! I love my G380, and the pulley runs awesome. Much better than the stock plastic pulley. I just don't understand why they would put VANITY above functionality! Sorry for venting, but it was a lot of work. Like I said I love my G380!

Really good!
I used it to cut out my seized Ac Compressor from my car.. so yeah, this wire is really solid!

Terrible !!
Don’t buy it! I bought it to cut rusted nails in our wooden banister rail outside. The diamond material on the outside of the wire fell off as soon as I started to pull on the wire. Absolute waste of time and money.
