Beachbody Exercise Mat

Expensive but quality mat first discovered when I started INSANITY years ago. Now have 6 of them on my home gym floor, giving that sense of contact with the floor doing heavy squats, while cushioning those knee tuck jumps. They did move around a bit on a carpeted floor but now all velcro'd down and I have a rock solid home gym floor as a result.

I was looking for a workout mat with which I could exercise (**with my sneakers on) and that could work as an all-in-one mat (yoga mat, jumping mat, extra cushion for abs...) and this one came to be excellent. Durable, it doesn't tear up like the usual yoga mats. The only issue (and it doesn't bother me as much) is that I have carpet in my workout area and it moves a lot when doing exercises that require jumping. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

this mat is super thick and feels similar to memory foam, the kind that you can press your hand down onto and see a slight imprint, but the hand print quickly disappears. So, perhaps a resilient mat ;) Honestly, I have a Manduka yoga professional mat, which I adore, however, it is quite thin and didn't offer the support or cushioning needed for let's say 8 count abs on beach body or 80 day obsession core work,etc. This mat is exactly what I wanted, a mat that is soft, thick, and provides a lot of cushioning...I have a bony body and was getting bruised whenever doing core work using a regular yoga mat, so it has been pretty nice having the extra support. The only thing about this mat is, it feels like a half size mat as it is half the size of my yoga mat. However, I am thinking this is due to the mat being more suited for core work and not really yoga. All in all, this is a great quality mat. I am happy with this purchase, regardless of it being a tad bit shorter than I would have liked, but at the end of the day, the pros outweigh the one slight con, so I still rated this with 5 stars

this mat is wonderful especially if you're doing any type of hard core exercise like INSANITY! We purchase one and now the second is on it's way because we love it so much we didn't want to share it! I have knee problems, they get sore easy when i exercise so i was a little worried to start INSANITY but with this mat i have no problem! This mat litteraly saves your knees and your hankles, I recommanded to everybody out there, i'm satisfied 100%

The padding is great for floor workout. Wish it was a little longer but love it!
