Excellent fast resolution.
I really liked the product even though it was a little bit more complicated to use than I had hoped. Ultimately I figured it out and it cleaned well. But unfortunately it stopped working, first it couldn't find the base, kept getting lost, then just kept circling in one space.

Was there when I needed them
My husband purchase a refurbished iRobot Roomba 980 along with the extended warranty coverage. Well the refurbished warranty was only for 3 months and since he purchase the item in October and gave the item to me for Christmas, it was already out of warranty with iRobot. So, when the filter door clasp broke, I contacted Asurion and sent my robot in for repair. It was only gone for a week and a half. Got it back and the door had been replaced. I used it for a few days the the charge was taking to long and the robot was running out of charger quickly. Contacted Asurion again, sent back the robot and found out it was non-repairable and they quickly issued my full purchase price! Wow! I have since purchase another brand robot and made sure to purchase the Asurion Extended Warranty with it! They were very easy to work with on both repairs ( 1 via web chat and 1 via phone). Will recommend this to anyone!

This is a legit protection plan, I am very pleased.
My vacuum broke and I was expecting the warrantee service to reject the claim for some reason like every other protection plan I have purchased but they didn't! They quickly fixed the issue and returned the vacuum. It is working great. So glad I didn't have to throw it away and buy a new one.

Absolutely horrendous experience!!!
I’ve had several Asurion contracts over the years. In prior days, they had a streamlined process, and were more customer friendly. THIS IS NOT THE CASE NOW. I sent my robovac in for repair because it was making a horrendous noise and was losing battery power. They claimed that both issues were “fixed”, and sent the unit back. Well.. their “quality technicians” managed to break the battery door from BOTH hinges. They didn’t think I’d notice the shoddy piece of scotch tape holding it in place. Their big faux pas was obscuring the charging sensor with the scotch tape so the unit was sent back IMMEDIATELY. They then proceeded to replace the door, claim they had “cleaned” the unit (there was NO CLEANING done beyond mine; and since I couldn’t even use it with no battery door- if they cleaned it the first time as stated on previous documentation- why would a second cleaning be warranted? They sent the unit back and the SAME HIGH PITCHED SCREAMING NOISE that I had sent the unit in on the initial call was clearly not fixed. When I called the representative again (since this is now the “third strike”) the representative assured me that once I sent the unit back AGAIN, they’d automatically issue the Amazon gift card to refund the unit. As all things with this company, THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. IT TOOK A TOTAL OF SIX PHONE-CALLS before they agreed to finally authorize the gift card. Prior to that, I received SEVERAL EMAILS stating they were repairing the unit and it was in process of being sent back to me (despite already acknowledging on the third phone incident they’d failed and would issue the gift card). On the SIXTH PHONE CALL, I had to escalate the call to a supervisor and threaten complaints to Amazon and the Better Business Bureau before they’d finally agree to their own verbal promises. I reminded them that all phone calls with issues are supposed to be logged at their call site, and all records of my phone calls to Asurion were documented should they decide to default. After way too much time and effort, they finally triggered the gift card. Then they actually thought bc they finally fulfilled the contract- they’d ask for a positive review. One thing I’m POSITIVE on- continue illegal practices as this (customer fraud and harassment) and you will be shut down.

Floor steamer extended
Although it was resolved, I did have a slight issue. 1) was told to call the manufacturer because the floor steamer was covered under warranty 2) manufacturers said the Asurion was responsible 3) called Asurion back discussed manufacturer denied the machine was now covered 4) Asurion then accepted responsibility and and advised they would cover the product 5) after much discussion about returning the large floor steamer the money was returned .I gave the company a 4 because of the multiple calls to Amazon, aurison , and the manufacturer. Other wise I would have given them a 5

Glad I bought this
The vacuum was total rubbish. I am glad I was able to get my money back to get one that works.
