Good strong paracord used to make a long lead for our little dog. On reflection, I might have gone for a brighter colour - less camouflage - so it is easier to spot when in the grass but otherwise, a great choice for us.

A type of product previously extensively used to create key fobs and other decorative objects in multiple colours. It was of short-lived popularity as a common past-time and no longer of personal interest.This "Paracord Rope 550 Multifunction - 30meter Kadactive 7 Strand Nylon Cord - for Outdoor, Indoor Use - Crafting, Keychains, Camping, Survival Rope" is somewhat stronger than the 5-strand type then mostly used. The 5-strand version typically had a breaking strain of at least 90Kg or above; 7-strand should offer greater break resistance.Being made entirely of nylon, it is completely water-resistant and could be used to tie-down luggage or otherwise to secure a tent when camping in any conditons or location; when properly tied-down, it should be completely wind-proof and weather-resistant. It is however quite flammable although, if done with care, cut ends can be sealed by heat and that will stop the outer from fraying or retracting and exposing the core fibres. As both are white in this instance, that will be less obvious than for those that have bright or dark coloured outers.However it is used, whether for a practical purpose or for crafting or decorative items, 30 metres (100 feet) should suffice for a few projects.

Easy to use

I have used many makes of paracord this one is one of the worst . It is very loose and the inner cords seem either thi or the outer seems too big making it baggy so when tying knots the cord often bends at acute angles making it take much longer to tie the knots also the finished product looks uneven and not nice and smooth like some better paracord. its probably ok to use for guidelines on a tent or something but avoid if you are making lanyards etc where you have ti tie plenty of knots

Can be used for many things

Loose, poor quality paracord. Bought to use in projects. Good enough for tying things up but not for making things

Item arrived disappointed as not continuous 2 large knots joining rope.

I will use this for all kinds of bushcraft projects, in my opinion the 550 Lara cord is one of the most useful tools you can have while out in a survival situation, and after testing this product I can say that it is of great quality and very good value for money.

Bought this paracord thinking it was a strong pink colour but when it arrived it was a pale baby pink not as the picture suggests.

This is a good quality cord, strong and brightly coloured. The velcro strap to bind it is a good touch. I used it to tie down some tarps in a storm and it did the job.

The photo shows a nice bright pink but the actual colour is like a baby pink that's faded in the sun or a white thats gotten washed with a red sock.

I used this item to make paracord bracelets and buddies that I then sell on.

Excellent quality product, top class service and value for money

Came across this by chance and couldn't believe the price and was a little dubious. But, it is a great product, lovely bright colours and will definitely buy again!
