Extremely Thin Normal Hair Starter Kit

CONTEXT: I used the Nutri-Ox serum 20 years ago when I wore a bump cap at work for 12.5 hours a day. It was different than what's sold now; it was a thick serum versus today's more liquefied spray. It worked. When I left that job, I stopped using due to healthier hair (no bump cap) combined with the Nutri-Ox transition to a thinner spray serum at a higher price.PRESENT RESULTS: I wanted to thicken my hair as I'm seeing more thinning due to age and so I thought I'd try Nutri-Ox again. My hair did not respond well to the shampoo/conditioner. I have never had so much hair fall in my life. Ever. I thought I was going to have a heart attack in the shower. Even without the hair fall, I found the shampoo and conditioner difficult to use on my longer hair. Uncomfortable all the way around. I'm thinking the issue is the ingredient of rosemary, which I do not see listed in the ingredients for the serum. I've read of "hair fall" issues with a new Suave shampoo that uses rosemary and so my suspicion is that I do not respond well to rosemary.DECISION: I've stopped using the s/c and thrown it away. I will continue to use the serum. If I begin to experience results, I'll continue to buy the serum, but at Sally's where it sells for less. Good or bad, I'll update my review when able.UPDATE: I've moved away from this product entirely.Peace.

This product does work. I have extremely fine, thin hair and going through menopause, it's getting even thinner. I read the reviewed for this and tried it. A coworker noticed my hair getting thicker after about 3 weeks. It's not crazy thick but it's definitely thicker than it was. I had her looking at my scalp reassuring me that yes, I did have new hair growth. LolI'm buying it again.

I bought the shampoo upon the recommendation of my rheumatologist. She said that one of her lupus patients with thinning hair was having great success with the shampoo. I went to my local beauty supply store and realized that the shampoo was part of a system. I found it cheaper here on Amazon and decided to give the whole system a try.I gave this a 3-star rating--I will say that the system did not regrow any hair in thinning areas, but it did make my hair appear thicker and fuller. I don't think I will purchase the entire system anymore. I did not like the conditioner, but loved the shampoo. From now on, I will probably just purchase the shampoo. I continued to use my own store-brand shampoo and my own conditioner along with this.

Used this before from sally beauty... great product that scalp spray stuff is particularly awesome. The smell is meh... not terrible... minty. But it made my hair look much fuller and feel surprisingly nice, comparable to better brand conditioners (my hair is curly, so this matters). Id recommend buying the starter kit here especially if you have Prime, it comes out cheaper that Sally.

Very harsh chemical init, my hair thinning increased since I started to use this product. It burned my eyes so bad, also gave me a lot of allergies ( redness on forehead ). Not recommended

I have had great results with this product. It doesn't burn and has a medium minty smell. My hair has grown from a pixie cut to past my shoulders and is thicker than it has ever been.

This kit is very nice, you only need a small amount of product to go a long way. The only thing is the mint or eucalyptus smell is over powering and causes me to cough & choke so please use in a well ventilated area.

I bought this because 99% of the reviews were highly recommended there was only one bad review a girl claiming it made her hair fall out I just assumed maybe she was allergic to something in it but no! After one time use I had two huge clumps fall out of my head I'm due to not being allowed to return liquid i'm out the money also.If you want to try this item byer beware!!

Absolutely fantastic! I was hesitant at first with this being quite expensive, but it has actually made a difference to my hair! I have loads of baby hair and new growth which is great, although I'm now having to deal with a fluffy head! I use this set every other wash for my hair and I've still seen great results.

All I can say is it actually works
