Got it for my laptop fast and easy too use. Not too much money

I bought this Ortial SSD 256GB as a christmas gift for a friend as his HDD broke recently. Thus I thought that helping him upgrade from an old, broken HDD would be necessary.My intention was to buy any SSD that was both affordable and offered exceptional read and write speeds, but also because it was a massive upgrade from a regular hard drive. I have to admit, having never heard of this brand I was expecting mediocre results.However, I can say with confidence that despite having a build myself, I wasn’t prepared for the stats. The SSD itself turned his PC from an almost 5-minutely boot time, to booting in seconds.At the time I had purchased this SSD for the retail price of £23.99 and is one in which that offers a high Read & Write Speed of 530MB/510, which makes it both affordable and one of the highest read and write speeds for the price.It even surpassed the read and write speeds of my samsung 256gb and my m.2 WD blue SN550 which are almost double the price of the Ortial SSD. It is also quite compact and is compatible with most desktops, as well as laptops.Therefore with this in mind, I would highly recommend that if one is requiring an SSD and want a budget friendly option with high read and write speeds, definitely pick this up.

Installed in a Windows 10 laptop very easily and has made a massive performance difference. I have also tried the same laptop with a much more expensive ssd and there seem to be no performance differences that can be seen in real world use. I'll use this brand again.

We have been using these ortial for a year and very happy.We are running 6 raining from 125gig to 256 gig and they haven't skipped a beat.

I bought this to put some life into an older laptop I have. It did the trick, and now the laptop has an overall speedier user interface experience. I put Easy to Install at 5 based on my personal experience. If you know how to add / replace storage devices in a computer, it just plugs in, stick an OS on it, and you're good! Rob :)

I would recommend these drives to everyone.They are solid and reliable.Iv upgrade a couple of old laptops with these drives.Not the fastest, but you get a solid drive.Well worth every penny.I have been using one as my main boot drive for quite a while. One happy customer.

Literally has this in for a couple of months I believe, useless garbage has stopped working for no reason!I've built PCs since 1996, I know what I'm doing and this just decided one day, nah not gonna work.Avoid.

Been using these drives for a while now and loving the great value they provide along with a massive speed boost over a mechanical hard drive. The 5 year warranty is a nice to have as well so you’ve got peace of mind too.

Was looking for a cheap SSD for an old laptop. Saw name brand 240GB on sale and this off brand 256GB for a dollar more. Then I saw the spec indicated the more durable TLC chips, unusual in a cheap SSD, so I jumped on it. Cloned the hard drive over, seems to work fine.

These SSDs perform pretty well. I tested 128 and 256gb on multiple computers and they perform really well, comparable to others of this class like SP and Pioneer.

Nice budget SSD to speed up my old laptop. Cloned with Macrium Reflect with no issues. Popped it into my laptop and booted up right away. Now enjoying the faster boot times and faster program loads.
