Jewelry Storage Cabinet

Love this thing but the magnet that makes it stick to the door pulled off very quickly and is useless. I really didn't even need it anyway so no problem for me. I did notice that each corner looks like it wasn't painted completely but since it's out of sight it doesn't really matter. The only thing I would change is that I need a little more room for more jewelry but all in all it works just fine.

I have other Cabidor products which I really like. This one required me to put in a surface mounted hinge on the door for the middle hinge which really was not a big deal. Just an extra step in getting it hung. What I found annoying is the lack of accommodations for hoop earrings. It is going to take some ingenuity to re-engineer the cabinet for this short sight.

My wife was looking for a nice way to store her jewelry. We ordered this Cabidor Jewelrey cabinet, and hung it on the closet door on the bedroom. Now, all of her jewelry is nicely organized and easy to find. No more tangled necklaces or misplaced rings.The inside of the cabinet is lined with black felt, and has hooks and hangers for various pieces of jewelry. There is a small mirror inside so that you can check out the look while the door is open, or for a bigger view, the outside of the door has a large mirror.This is a nice way to keep your jewelry, without taking up a lot of space in the room.There is some minor installation required, a hammer and a screwdriver will be needed, and possibly a measuring stick or tape. Installation is fairly simple but may require two people; you remove the pins from two door hinges and put them though the brackets on the Cabidor, then back into the door hinges.

The product is as described. Since it's MDF the finish isn't the greatest. A little rough on the edges. Installation is easy. I think the item is over priced since it's MDF and you can get a piece of nicely finished furniture (jewelry armoire) for just a little more.

While it installs on 2 hinges and a door with 3 or 4 hinges it's best suited for a door with 4 hinges. If installed on a door with only 3 hinges it must be installed too high or too low to be functional. It would work quite nicely if installed on the middle 2 hinges of a door with 4 hinges.

I bought this for my wife to get her jewelry collection under control. She absolutely loves it and it could not have been easier to set up and install. I was very happy with the quality, look and functionality. Definitely worth the money.
