Chef Craft Select Sturdy Skimmer, 13.25 inch, Stainless Steel

As an Italian, I love using this skimmer (Italian: schiumarola) for many tasks including serving quickly large spoonful of food (pasta, rice, salads) and when frying food, scooping it safely and moving it to a drying area. It's also great to remove starch when boiling potatoes: just skim the surface.I tried the full metal ones but they were a bit too heavy! This is a great medium:not heavy but still sturdy.I wish the producers offered different handle colors and finishes - maybe next time?

It's really hard to find this type of spatula in stores. The ones in the stores are all "fancy." But the fancy ones simply aren't as good, they've just bulked up with useless crap.These have nice sharp edges for scraping pans, they have the right amount of flexibility, they can handle anything from a fried egg to a steak.And when you accidentally melt the handle on your stove and need to replace the spatula? No problem, it's so inexpensive you don't mind at all.

I purchased this utensil for deep frying. I have used it for shrimp and french fries so far and it worked just fine. A safe way to fish your food out of hot oil. I am sure it has many other uses too. Happy with this purchase.

Devient chaude au contact de la chaleur et froide au contact du froid, ce qui est caractéristique du métal dont elle est composée. Va au lave vaisselle et aussi au tiroir ou sur le comptoir. Très bonne palette à oeufs, vous pourrez en tourner un à la fois ou plusieurs un après l'autre.J'ai aussi réussi à tuer une mouche avec, elle a trouvé la palette très résistante et elle n'est pas restée collée sur la palette, ce qui est signe d'une grande qualité.De plus , elle n'est pas laite

Not being used in the kitchen . I'm using it to scoop cat litter .Better than any plastic litterscoop . I just hope it does not break at the handle joint or further down where the 2 pieces are saudered.

You do wonder how many of these are ever used for cooking. Going by the reviews, most people use it for cat clumping litter and no wonder, it’s perfect. Strong, with quite a sharp edge so it cuts through clay clumping litter with no bother at all. Its shape means it gets really close to the tray wall and the holes are narrow enough to filter out clean litter while retaining the used bits. It lives up to its name, really sturdy. Like some other reviewers, I’d been using a skimmer which was about 60 years old, and never thought I’d find one as good. This one is.
