Electronic Auto Focus AF Lens Mount Adapter for Four Thirds (4/3) Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds (MFT,M4/3) Mount Camera,Olympus OM-D E-M1 MarkII,E-M5 Panasonic GH3,GH4,GH5,GH5s DSLR Camera

I have an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark 2, Micro Four Thirds camera. In my closet I had an older Four Thirds System including 4 original Four Thirds lenses, all high quality Olympus lenses. This adapter simply showed BLACK, ziltch, nothin', nada. I tried the different lenses... made sure the camera was turned on... nothin'. Considering it is just a simply passive, pass-through connection (there is no computer chips) one has to wonder about the quality control. I returned this adapter.

The adapter fits well and and works fine with both my Lumix G9 and G7 cameras. The AF and MF controls also work well. I didn't want to spend $200-$250 on an MMF-3 adapter and for the price this adapter is a good option if you want to experiment with 4/3 lenses that are selling for bargain prices these days.

Perfectly adapted the Kit lens 12-42 f3.5 to my E-M1For the Olympus 12-60mm f2.8, the gold contacts/fingers shifted while mounting adapter in camera body.To solve this issue, I use the aluminum foil tape to keep the gold contacts and fingers lineup. This will prevent the contacts misaligned while mounting the adapter to camera body, while turning. I also covered the foil with black tape.Not a perfect product, but worth the $30 I paid to got my $300 f2.8 "new" lens to work with my E-M1.

The adapter, physically mounted my older lens on the E-MX1.The camera has eleven (11) pins, the adapter and lens have (9).When the adapter is added to the camera, the camera fails to snap an image.IE, with the adapter off the camera will function, this is on the E-MX1

I used this to attach a Zuiko 35mm macro lens to my Panasonic GH3. Works just fine. (The focusing is very slow, but I think that's the fault of the lens, not the adapter.)

The Adapter does not work on my Olympus E-PL-1 even though the listing & instructions in the package say so. The mounts fit the Len & camera, however, there is just a black picture. I test the lens mount and a Z lens 14-42, not touching the contact pins, no black once touching the camera pins with lens adapter black. Returning with another Len adapter for the E-PL one. 2 strike with Olympus import lens adapters from Amazon. I am sticking with my cheap Pentax mount to 4/3 using with cheap Sears and K-Mart 35mm lens, Rico & Chinnon 28, 135. Beautiful but no auto-focus.

My Olympus original 4/3 lens now works perfectly with my Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K M4/3 mount! The adapter electronics allow the auto focus to work well. The adapter could be a bit more snug on the camera body, but otherwise it is a win!
