Pretty good PSU for the price!
Several months in and absolutely no problems with this PSU.It's currently powering:i7 4790k @ 4.7GHz, 1.28 VNvidia GTX 10801 SSD4 HDDsKeyboard, mouse, 4 random USB powered controllersI took a risk going off-brand with PSUs (since you run the risk of hosing EVERYTHING if the PSU really goes belly up) but this paid off. It's an affordable PSU that can deliver plenty of power.Downside: it is not modular. After reading the other reviews of this product I think it's safe to assume this company's quality control needs to test more units or maybe they need to go with higher quality parts. As for mine, it works, works well, and I hope it keeps working in the future.

For the price and power this is the best 1000W PSU I've ever purchased, excellent value. Save your money for a better Video Card
This power supply works just fine, the only small complaint was the 20+4 motherboard connection. It will not split to a 20, you can buy an adaptor. (20 pin motherboards are old, 99% of people won't want 1000 watts for something so old) None of this was a problem for even my 4 year old AMD. Runs my R9 290 without any problems off just one PCI-E / VGA-1 connection rated @ 35 amps each, the cables are labeled, PCI-1 / PCI-2 (6+2 they are splittable), CPU, etc. So you won't have any problems knowing what plugs in where.Simple fact is this power supply works just as well as ones that cost far more, honestly I'm not too impressed with Modular / Removable power port connections. They just have you searching to where you have your cables stored away if you upgrade anything. I have a closet full of computer parts and yeah it's really not fun to deal with just finding one cable to add an SSD or HDD so my case looks pretty on the inside. (Not a problem with this PSU!) Thus 5 stars, over 30 years experience with computers and I won't be spending double or more the price for a power supply (PSU) again just to have a modular one, 80+ Plus Gold all that jazz. (Gimmick IMO) So if you're looking for a SLI compatible power supply save yourself a lot of money and just go with this!I would check the AMP draw on your Video Card(s) and pin connection requirements, just to be sure.Honestly, I wouldn't even use SLI ever, they still have constant drivers problems or software incompatibility. Just put the money on a GTX 980 or better. It's a no thrills high watt PSU that just works (really all you need!), go for it, you'll be glad you did.If you have any problems there is a link to chat with them about any problems you have written on a piece of paper in the box.As far as how long it will last? I'm not worried about it, doing computer repair for about 20 years, it's always lightning damage that gets to them...

Seems to be a good power supply so far
Seems to be a good power supply so far. Issues I saw were a lack of documentation and the EPS and PICe cables were unmarked. A newer builder or upgrader could easily mix them up. Also the EPS cable was too short to route around and hide from view. If this was going into a case that I was going to display I would have returned it for a different model.

No Regrets
Even if this is an off brand I find it very well made and thought out. It is very silent, has enough cables to give you enough power for everything and some extra stuff. 1000W is a bit of an overkill but I would recommend this for anyone that is trying to build their own super computer to play VR in. For the price I got it I say it is worth having a little extra W just in case future VR is going to require more power.

This thing is crazy loud.
After one day's operation I really have to consider returning this thing due to all the racket. I've never heard a computer as loud as mine after installing this power supply. I don't get how they can get away with using the term "silent" anywhere in the description. The speed of the fan is variable, but even when it is running more slowly it's still louder than any other power supply in my experience. But then I have never had a 1KW power supply. My system does have 6 hard drives but no huge graphics card so I doubt that it's ever really maxed out.

Could be a good PSU for a PC, but not for the application I was looking for
I need a PSU that can supply 30A at 5V continuously, so when I saw this did 45A at 5V, I ordered it. However the device I needed to hook this PSU up to is quite expensive so risking an unknown PSU is not an option. I ran some load tests and monitored the output of the device. Bottom line do not believe the numbers printed on this unit. It was able to only do 15A at 5V, but as soon as I pushed it up to 16A, the entire PSU shutdown, and refused to turn on again. This may be a good PSU for a computer, but I have to doubt it based on the numbers. Good luck hooking this unit up to a $1500 gaming rig.
