I have been buying these for my husband’s stomach issues for a long time. They work great for him and they are much cheaper than other brands.

I have tried just about every PPI (proton pump inhibitor) made (Prilosec, Prevacid, Nexium, Protonix) for a chronic acid reflux condition that I've had about twenty years now. Some worked for a period of time before losing their effectiveness. I started taking Zegerid daily about eight years ago, and this medication continues to work better for me than any other PPI I've tried. My understanding is that Zegerid is composed a slightly different formulation of omeprazole compared to that in Prilosec and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). Now, sometimes I feel a bit full after taking a capsule, but a good belch takes care of that issue.In the past I always purchased Zegerid at Target, but even when I had a coupon to save several dollars the drug cost at Target was no cheaper than Amazon's. In fact, after I chose the subscription option so that I get a box automatically sent to me every month I'm actually paying a bit less with Amazon than I'd pay at Target even with a coupon. And it's damn convenient too!So, in short, I'm very happy with Zegerid as well as Amazon's price and subscription option and hope this PPI continues to work as effectively for me in the future as it has in the past.
