Only sticky on one side?
I was unable to peel second side so I put the sticky side on to the tread, thinking it would make it easier to peel the second side.Boy was I wrong! I took al 13 off the treads and there was already a stain. So I applied a piece to the to be gaffed tread and again I was unable to remove the other side side. I removed the tape from the to be applied tread and a large amount of the tube applied tread came off.The product may be sticky on vote sides-I will never know-I threw away the unused portion and thinking back the design was for the manufactures bottom line (no human factors engineering) in this product.

It's just OK
It stuck to my natural hardwood stairs just fine; however, it didn't adhere to the backing of the [Set of 7] Brown Stair Tread Rugs | Modern Design Trellis Lattice Carpet Treads [Easy to Clean] Rubber Non-slip Non-skid Backing | Nylon Low Pile 9" x 27" Stair Treads I purchased. The treads came away from the backing pretty easily. I think I'm going to go with stair tacks in the end to ensure that the carpet treads stay in place. I will say that the product wasn't so sticky as not to easily come up off the hardwoods, and I'm pretty confident after prolonged use would not damage hardwoods at all, so there's that. I'm sure I'll find another use for this product elsewhere in the home.

Sticks great
This is a good product and I used it all the way up the stairs on the carpet treads. Holding up very well after one month. I’d give it five stars if it didn’t take an act of god to get the backing off. Maybe that’s why it works though

Worked great
These work great. I'm not sure if they will damage the floor when removed, but we didn't really have an option because the non-slip pads weren't keeping the carpet treads from not moving and our 13-year-old dog kept falling down the stairs. Now he is much more stable and we are all happier. Easy to apply, plenty to cover the 13 steps we have.

Good. need Longer roll
This product is working well after a couple months - pretty light use.It seems weird the roll is not about 6 or 10 feet longer for a normal set of stairs.I squeezed out all but one step and went to local orange home store for one more tread.

This works great! You have to work at removing the film ...
I was skeptical using this but was tired of carpet tacks that don't always work so well. This works great! You have to work at removing the film but I am happy with this solution.

Would like a refund
Does not stick to carpet and is constantly pulling up. Would like to return and receive a refund. I only tried on one stair so most of the tape is still on roll except 12" that I used on the carpeting
