I have ordered this smoked salmon twice. I served it as an appetizer for Thanksgiving and it got rave reviews from my family and guests. When my first shipment arrived, the ice packs were still frozen and the salmon was ice cold. I put it in the freezer and took it out on Thanksgiving Day. I was very impressed with the timing of delivery, the packaging, the quality of the product, and the taste. Because of that I just ordered some more. When it arrived, the salmon was still cold but the ice packs were not frozen at all. Had I not been home, I'm afraid the salmon may have been ruined. It was very well packaged and the only thing I can think of, is that the ice packs were not frozen completely? Bottom line, is the salmon is very high quality so if they can deliver this salmon to me really cold, I will be a returning customer.

I’ve have been a gourmet cook for many years and follow the trends of the food world very closely. I can honestly say that this is by far the best smoked salmon I’ve ever tried. It has a fresh, soft and delicate taste. The slices were perfectly cut and easy to work with. It has a fresh aroma that was not at all overpowering. It’s the best quality and value in smoked salmon I’ve ever seen and the most versatile in terms of use. I was impressed with the fast delivery and the styrofoam container as well. Looking toward to re-ordering very soon.

The bad smell told me that it was not fresh!

It has quality, delicate texture and mild flavor. You can enjoy those three even though 10 days after you unpack. Today I finished the rest of my pack from last week, it was still soft, rich and FRESH. I am grateful to get such a very best quality of the salmon delivered at my door by one click. It was kept frozen until before use. Hope you continue to supply this product for a long time.

This is good smoked salmon, not too fishy or salty, sliced into good size pieces.

I'm a smoked Salmon junkie. I decided to purchase this item after my local box store club was out of their sliced, smoked salmon. I envisioned receiving something akin to what was displayed on the product page/photo. Instead, I received 8, 1/4 of a pound individual, pre-sliced packages. No problem with the pre-slice. I expected it.Overall, it had a very good flavor. On a toasted, pumpernickel bagel, with cream cheese, thinly sliced red onion, a slice of tomato and some capers - always a good combo (at least for me.)Probably won't get this item again since I have located a Kosher Deli here in Phoenix that has an excellent supply of smoked Lox.

Five stars if the texture is not as soft. My previous review was in error. I was confused with another product.

I looked for this brand in my local Publix store but was sadly disappointed. They carry two different brands which I tried, both brands comparable to the price of this brand BUT no way near the quality or taste!Do yourself a favor, buy this brand.
