The best investment I made on my breastfeeding journey (this and a mini fridge for next to the bed). Use the ladybug to collect milk on the opposite side when my child is eating. The haaka is great for letting out just enough milk to make it easier for child to latch. Would 100% buy again.

One for catching letdown and one for suction, this is the perfect pair! I have engorgement occasionally and the haaka is gentle but strong enough. The ladybug is great for tucking into your bra so that while you nurse, the letdown in the other side is saved and doesn’t just soak your shirt. A great gift for new mamas.

This kit includes TWO ladybug collectors AND a really nice dual ended brush for cleaning. I was also SUPER happy when I noticed that the Haakaa is the model with the suction cup bottom. The photo had me thinking that it would be the model with the standard bottom which I have read is less than ideal due to possible tipping. So I was PUMPED to see that what was sent to me was the model with the suction cup bottom. Pun totally intended. Really exceeded my expectations. I was just looking at the photo and thought I was getting one ladybug collector and one standard haakaa. Nope!

The hakaa works great. The lady bug not so much.

The lactation specialist at the hospital recommended this since I had a lot of leaking when I breastfed. I realized quickly though that it was too much trouble to try and grab this while my daughter was hungry. I never tried the ladybug part, but I found it just as easy to invest in breast pads to keep in my bra instead.

This is great if, like me, you've got that one boob with the super fast, powerful let down reflex. Both the suction pump and ladybug collector work great when breastfeeding on the opposite side and this reflex kicks in. No milk wasted! I only wish there was some sort of stopper, or cover for both to prevent collected milk from contamination in-between removal from the breast and transferring to a bottle. If you don't do this immediately it's left open and exposed.

I keep these on at all times and am able to get a stash of milk
