I bought this product for acting. It works fast! And it doesn’t have a bad smell or hurt really bad when you use it. Great product, would definitely buy again!

I bought this as a way to get out of tickets easily and boy does it work! You apply it underneath your eyes or in the corner of your eyes closest to your nose. Then you will immediately feel a burning sensation in your eyes. It's the feeling you experience when you cut an onion. If you blink hard a few times, tears should begin to fill your eyes. Its pretty cool. It looks like a lip stick so it is pretty easily hidden. The smell isn't too bad either. It smells like a vicks, the one you use when you're sick. Unfortunately, sometimes if you apply it too much it will burn. Overall I think this product is pretty useless but fun to use. Definitely something that can come in handy one day.

Definitely works, but I think the effectiveness of it depends on how sensitive your eyes are and your acting ability. Expensive for a small amount but goes a long way. Also the sticker that comes on the tube is difficult to get off and leaves residue. Also it has "TEAR STICK" written across it, so very little chance to be discreet, and the stick itself breaks easily and is barely held in place, so you may need to wipe pieces off of your face after applying. Lastly I used it on my wife and it simply didn't work for her, although I did put much more on my face than on hers so maybe that's the reason.

This tear stick does produce tears. I tried it many times and it works every time. But that being said it does have a very faint menthol smell which makes it difficult to use in a situation where the person is sitting or standing close to you and you want to conceal the fact that you are using it. In my opinion it is perfect for theater, acting work or in situations where the other person is standing 3 feet away. Any closer contact and they can suspect the use of menthol.

The product itself works well however the the product constantly falls out of the tube, crumbles, and falls apart more with every use making it nearly impossible

This product works great for a scene where you want to look like you have a bunch of tears built up in your eyes but it’s not to do a scene for falling tears . It worked perfect for a scene where I had to look like I’m panicking with tears built up but not falling down my face. It lasts between 5-10 minutes so you just reapply it. It’s the perfect amount of tears I needed .

When I first tried it, it didn't work. However, it's actually that if you're wearing contact lenses it really doesn't work well! For a local theater production, I would take my contact lenses out for crying scenes and use the stick right before going on stage. I had to fight back the tears as much as possible until it was time to let them fall! It's a great product once you've adapted to using it!
