Full of errors
This book is riddled with errors. I have been teaching AP Biology for two years and this book has only confused and aggravated my students this year. I am constantly correcting the math questions (grid in) and multiple choice questions. I do not recommend this book!

This is an important resource.
I have to disagree with Pen Name. This is a great and really comprehensive book. It has been difficult to find a review book that truly reflects the changes the College Board made to the exam in 2012. Most review books reorganized the old material into the four Big Ideas but did little else to support the focus of the new exam. This little book of 500 questions is the only book I have found that accurately models the new exam. The questions are, on average, a bit more difficult than the questions on the AP Biology exam, but the author clearly went through the document released by the College Board and wrote questions according to their Big Ideas, Enduring Understandings and Essential Knowledge. What I like most about this book is that it contains multiple-choice, short and long free-response and grid-in questions with thorough explanations to support them. It’s the best way to review before the AP exam. The illustrations are also really well done.Another thing I really love about this book is that scattered throughout the answer key, in relevant places, are italicized notes to students streamlining what they do and don’t need to know for the AP biology exam. This is extremely helpful since the focus of the exam has changed quite dramatically. In fact, the answer key alone is worth more than the price of the book. Many of the concepts are explained in new ways and offer really great insights for students.Contrary to Pen Name’s review, I have not found any errors (as of yet) aside from an occasional typo. Just be aware: the biology in this book is very serious. If your class is only going skin-deep you may not find this book an easy ally in your preparation, but if you stick with it, you are likely to actually achieve a 5.

A TERRIFIC BOOK!!!!
This is a terrific and very useful book. I have been teaching AP Biology for 19 years and I have been making the extended (and kind of painful) transition from old curriculum to new. This book is really helpful because it is written for the new curriculum. The questions are very good and all the answers are explained fully and clearly. Finally I have something to use where I don't feel like I'm reinventing the wheel! This is the only book of questions that I have seen that 100% addresses the new AP Bio. I use it in class and for homework, and I have recommended it to my students, who think it has helped them tremendously.

Go buy that book if you felt AP bio is easy for you......
This book is so boring, but I can tell aurther try her best to help you out. I guess I am just not smart enough to handle. But honestly this book really hurt my feeling. Anyway, I am not a teacher, I am just a student. It's not a bad book(I guess?) Lots of hard questions. But if you can achieve an four on AP, I guess that book can help you get a five. No offense to auther, she took that book seriously.
