Enermax Cyberbron 500W Power Supply, 80 PLUS Bronze, Non-Modular PSU, Silent Fan, Black Flat Cable, ATX Compact 140mm Size, 5 Year Warranty

I needed a quiet power supply for a server with a "no-fan" motherboard in an ATX case. This supply had all the power I needed. Finding an 80+ Bronze rated supply at budget price is rare. All the required connectors are built in, and the cables are long enough. Not modular. No gold plated connectors. No tech sleeves on the wires. Includes a heavy IEC style detachable power cord. Mounting screws included. Build looks solid. Made in Taiwan, not the PRC.

Did not install this in a rig that will be heavily stressed if ever. Running an i5 10400 gtx 1660 32gb memory. So far so good

Enough power to run a PC with external GPU. no complain.

Very happy with this product. everything works as it should, easy to install, very quiet Couldn't be happier.

The Enermax Cyberbron ECB700EW masquerades as a 700W powersupply. If you look closely at my review photograph or the energy power table labeled on the actual unit itself, you can see that the unit produces 54 amps of +12 volt power. The industry standard is to measure the power rating of a supply by multiplying these two numbers: 54A * 12V = 648 Watts. However Enermax marketing sees no problem advertising this unit as 700 watts. Look at my review photo again and you can see a competing product, the EVGA 700 GD, another product advertised as a 700W powersupply. The EVGA 700 GD's power output table shows it's capable of producing 58.3 amps of +12 volt power. They list the units power as 58A * 12V = 699.6 Watts.So we see here the deceptive marketing strategy by Enermax. Not even if we gave them the benefit of the doubt and just rounded 648 w to one significant figure, it would be 600 w not the 700 w they purport.It might have been a four-star product if it were stable and was actually advertised as 650W but there is deception here, so minus one star. Worse, the unit is unstable (causing system reset, crash) under modest loads that even other 600W power supplies I own can handle. Minus another star. It's probably good for 550W stable, I would guess.Once upon a time in the early 2000s Enermax was the best power supplies you could get. When computers were still mostly beige and power supplies didn't have branding or even English words, Enermax was there. Indeed, I still have several Enermax cases with old, 365 w power supplies that actually deliver the listed 365 w, and stable too. Times have changed. Too bad.Also minus another star for making me waste my time to isolate the system crashes, re-cable-route and rebuild the system again, and making me drive to the UPS store to return it on a busy Saturday afternoon..

とにかく静かですね！音によるストレスがなくなりました。

これまであまり電源を意識していなかったのですが、使用しているグラフィックボードに対し容量がちょっと低めだったので少し大きめの電源にしてみました。安定性、静穏性にはとても満足しています。静音ファンってすごいなと思いました。問題点としてはプラグイン式ではないので不要なケーブルがわさっと生えていて、余っているケーブルがファンに干渉してしまったりなどはありました。ケースに余裕がない人やあまり自作経験が無い人はプラグインタイプのほうが良いとは思いますが、そこを気にせずにできる人ならお値段値はあると思います。

静音って謳ってますけどそんなにでした。他のものと比べたら割と高いので期待してましたが想像通りではありませんでした。まあ玄○志向とかのやつよりは全然静かです。

今のところ、音も静かですしコイル泣きもない、シャットダウン中にファンの異音もないです。ただプラグインではないので古い電源コネクターのコードが余ります。
