Shockingly spicy
Let’s preface this by saying I’m a big wimp when it comes to anything spicy, but this caught me off guard because there wasn’t anything listed that would make it spicy and no indication on the listing it would be spicy. Based on the reviews it looks like some got spicy and some got more citrusy. It actually ended up being fine because i took this to my friends house for a party and they absolutely loved it. They’re a big Hispanic family and love everything spicy including their drinks. When I told them it had some zing to it they tried some different ways to drink it like with jalapeño rimmed glass and one with tajin and tequila. You can taste that there’s other citrus fruits in here as well and it’s very fruit and bitter in a good way. We got quite a few glasses out of this bottle and it turned out to be a fun thing to bring to parties to try something new and get creative

Good...but my batch was off, and spicy!
I was really excited to try this, even used one of my fancy cocktail glasses. Before I tried it, my kiddo wanted to taste it since it's just a mixer and I told her it "should" taste just like grapefruit. Well she took a swig and started crying because its SPICY. I tried it too and my lips were burning for a good 5 minutes.I read the reviews on this flavor before I tried it and I was really expecting it to taste like grapefruit juice, but it doesn't really. It just tastes like citrus and jalapeño. I was a little worried that it was spicy just because it doesn't mention spicy anywhere on the product page on within the ingredients, so I reached out to the company and they mentioned they did have a spicy batch turn out, but it's totally fine.I'm ok with it!

Excellent margarita mix!
Ruby Red Grapefruit Mix By Bravado Spice Gluten Free, Vegan, Low Carb, Paleo Margarita MixExcellent margarita mix! The mix delivers the citrus zing and tartness of the Ruby Red Grapefruit, lemon and lime juices, enough sweetness to make the tartness enjoyable, and a whisper of salt. Makes 4-5 very tasty margaritas per bottle. Great to keep on hand for some variety in your summer drinks!Super simple ingredients list: Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice, Filtered Water, Sugar, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Citric Acid, Sea Salt. 100% natural. Gluten free.I like the styling of the glass bottle as well. My order came with a Bravado Spice Co. sticker and magnet too. I look forward to exploring the other flavors in the line. It's a bit pricey, but I love it! It would also make a nice gift!

Can be used to make grapefruitade; also contains lime and lemon juices, sugar, and salt, and water
I sometimes use lime juice or lemon juice to make limeade or lemonade. When I saw this, I figured I’d try making grapefruitade. Although this is advertised as margarita mix, it doesn’t have any alcohol or anything in it, so there’s no reason why it couldn’t be used for other purposes. Unlike the lime and lemon juices, though, this does have more ingredients than just grapefruit juice. It also has water, sugar, lime juice, lemon juice, citric acid, and sea salt. While I probably haven’t attempted to eat a grapefruit in at least 30 years, this basically tastes like grapefruit juice. The other ingredients do serve to take the edge off, though, so it’s not anywhere near as harsh as lime juice or lemon juice. So, if you like the flavor of grapefruit, you’ll probably like this. If you don’t, you definitely won’t. It did work fine to make grapefruitade, but I much prefer to have limeade or lemonade.

Expected more flavor
I am a little bummed about this product. I am a HUGE grapefruit fan and will order it on a menu any time I see it in a cocktail! I was very excited to make my own grapefruit marg at home! My husband and I both agree that the flavor is definitely lacking. It has a hunt of grapefruit but not nearly what we expected for it to be marketed as grapefruit marg mix. Love that it is keto, GF, low carb and all that good stuff, but we bought it for the flavor which is just not there. Perhaps all those things is WHY the flavor is lacking. It more just adds a sweetness to the liquor which is fine but also a let down.Overall, would not buy again but will definitely finish the bottle!

Found the spice overpowering.
Beside the brand name, there is no other indication that the mixer will be spicy, not even in the ingredients list. Used this as a mixer with some quality tequila for a group of friends and it was pretty universally disliked. Tried all sorts of different ratios and it didn’t really seem to help. Most agreed that the spice was overpowering and that there wasn’t enough citrus tartness/sweetness to balance it out or make it refreshing or pleasant to drink. Honestly more reminiscent of a spicy Bloody Mary than a citrus margarita. This is of course subject to personal preference. Not my cup of tea. 2/5 stars.

Made 4-5 margaritas, simple ingredients
I didn't find this watery like some of the other folks. I wonder if they shook it up before pouring which I did to make sure that everything was evenly distributed. We also shook it with ice in our shaker but didn't serve it on the rocks (it had been chilled in the fridge ahead of time). Two of us drank this over two days and we both enjoyed it. It obviously didn't taste quite as fresh as real fresh fruit juice, but it tasted much more "real" than most bottled mixers. If you are planning a huge party this is an expensive way to do margs, but if you want some higher quality (but still bottled) margaritas for you and your partner on a nice summer night then it's a good option.
