I did a lot of reading (reviews) and was convinced to try this as 'more than just another Amoral' ...I'm glad I did !! There really IS a difference, and I'm so pleased that I bought this.I wanted something of quality to protect the rubber moldings around my moon roof, windows, and doors. It proclaims UV protection as well.I applied it and waited several months to write this review in order to observe its durability. It works great!I've since expanded to using it on my tires, and it is so much better than anything siliconized that I ever used. One treatment lasts me over a month, and I keep my car in immaculate condition. I also use it in some areas of the vinyl on my interior.For other purposes I put it on the side edges of the soles of my shoes (not the bottoms unless you want to ski in them). It leaves no residue when it dries, so I've used it on straps, bags and most anything vinyl or rubber that I have, and it works great. It restores old vinyl and rubber, and keeps it all looking and feeling like new!And no, I don’t know them, and they don’t know me. I wasn't paid a dime, and I don’t expect to be. I just found something good and I thought that I’d share it out to … you!

The plastic sprayer was dripping down on my hand every time I pumped the handle. It was really bad so I called their website. They sent me a new sprayer right away! Good customer support is really important to me!

Not as good as the aerosol version of this product - leaves a white chalky mess.

This product is OK, but it could be better. I used it on my 7 year old Tundra which has lots of black plastic. Well, at least it used to be black. Now its more like gray over black. The company's claim that it will restore weathered plastic to it's original color is a bit exaggerated if the plastic is well-weathered, like mine (I live in the Mojave Desert and park the truck outside most of the time). Plus I was a bit disappointed that the surface must be completely clean before applying it. I washed the surface well, but it's a bit difficult to get all the dirt out of weathered plastic, plus it's difficult to see the dirt due to the lack of color contrast with the grayed surface. Apparently I missed some.After applying the product to the plastic areas and tires there was obvious improvement, but it was blotchy, even tho I applied quite a bit and let it sit (per instructions). I suppose a second application might improve the appearance, but I'd be more impressed if it worked the first time. Applying it to all exterior black vinyl-plastic and the tires of this full-size truck used up about half of the bottle.As for dust repelling... well I guess that depends on the kind of dust. Are we talking common blowing-in-the-wind dust, or dust from dirt? When I drove the truck on a dirt road a few days after application the wheels turned dusty brown. I washed and scrubbed with a tire brush to no avail... I could not get the tire back to black in all areas, especially near the rim, so I could not reuse the product since it requires a clean surface. So, I went back to the spray-on wheel cleaner I get four cans at a time from Costco since it cleans as well as turning the rubber black. It wasn't easy, but eventually it came back to black.I have a friend who swears by Vinyl-X. He says it lasts about a year, but he started using it right after he bought the car before it was weathered so he doesn't know how well it would work on weathered plastics.

EDIT: Great customer service from einszett Car Care Products. They solved all of the issues I had by sending me two new bottles, which work as expected! and notified Amazon of the non return issue. Thanks Mike!The product itself is great. I really hate to 1-start this but the sprayer leaks and it doesn't just leak a little, it leaks a lot! To the point it is wasteful.This is the second bottle I ordered with a bunk sprayer. I was hoping this sprayer would be fine and I would just refill or move the sprayer to the other bottle. Now I am stuck with two bottles that have crap sprayers.Looks like I am now buying empty spray bottles to move the product over too.Buyer beware, Amazon, for some reason, doesn't accept returns on this product, it even state on the product page "This water-based formula is oil-free and biodegradable". How does that make this a hazardous or flammable product?

I have not tried every brand of rubber/plastic treatment available, but I can say that this product is absolutely the best of those that I have tried. If you are looking for that ultra high-gloss reflective/polished-rubber look, then this is NOT for you. You know how tires look when they are brand new? Well, Einszett's version of rubber/plastic treatment makes tires look like they are new from the tire shop. No greasy residue, and it lasts a long time. The same results can be expected when used on automotive plastic trim, too. I love this product. Unfortunately, I have heard that the Einszett brand is being discontinued. Such a tragedy.

I use this product on my interior rubber and vinyl components and it seems to do a great job at cleaning and protecting. I have recently discovered Einszett products and I just love this product along with their window cleaner and cockpit detailer. I also use Meguiar's products and have been very satisfied, so I switch between the two brands.

Used it on my pickup's door gasket and now my door never sticks closed in early morning freezing weather. No more wrestling with my truck door on freezing cold mornings.
