Shifts like a dream!
This uses the Shimano Dyna-Sys shifting mechanism which has a different pull ratio compared to non-Dyna-Sys Shifters that are 9spd and below.My rear derailleur is a M6000-RD Deore 10spd and I tried to use a M4000 Shifter to shift it with no luck as the pull was insufficienct.The M6000 Shifter was out of stock here on Amazon but the Zee was cheaper and is practically identical.Now the Shimano Zee is shifting the M6000-RD and I no longer have any shifting issues! Great shifter and worth every penny.

Works great... until it doesn’t!
Used this for a 1x10 conversion. Worked wonderfully for 6 months. Really appreciate the multiple downshift capability. I ride intermediate XC and have not had any falls since conversion. One morning, the shifter did not cooperate downshifting. I took it to LBS to have the pros check it out. They flushed it and were not able to fix it, claiming it was no longer any good. I do trust this shop and am upgrading to a Saint moving forward. Very surprised/disappointed from a Shimano product.

Affordable quality shifter.
Can't beat the price for the quality. Great shifter which went to upgrade my 2012 Paradox to a 1x10. Quick and easy to install with a slick design.

Solid shifter for 1x conversion
I’m pretty happy with this shifter for my 1x 10 spd conversion. It matches the Zee derailleur I bought and shifts pretty flawlessly compared to my 3x. You can’t go wrong here as long as the price is right

Good Functional replacement non-I spec b compatible.
Bought this to replace an SLX 10 speed shifter which fell apart on the trail. Unit is fine albeit the shift paddles are a bit plasticy additionally the lever throw is a bit harder than the old SLX version. Taking off one star because this isn’t I spec b compatible
