Great value, all steel construction
Solid combo. Light is powered by TWO CR123a batteries and is BRIGHT! Green laser is powerful and can be seen in daylight out to 20-30 yards depending on the target's background. All steel construction. Great choice for rifles or shotguns. Way too big for even full-sized pistols, however. One bit of advice to folks who have a problem zeroing or holding zero with the laser. Loosen the adjustment screws overnight. Drop Loctite Blue onto the adjustment screws and zero the laser the next day. Once zero'd, stop shooting and let the Loctite dry overnight. Your zero will not waiver...

Home Defense Shotgun
This is perfect for a home defense shotgun with a pistol grip instead of a full stock. With the laser you don’t have to hold the shotgun up to eye level to know where the barrel is pointing. Something you really don’t want to do if your 12 gauge shotgun has a pistol grip instead of a full stock. Especially for a Mossberg Shockwave that has a Picatinny rail on the fore end. You need the flashlight so you can see in the dark, a given if this is a home defense weapon. The laser has a push button on and off, but the flashlight does not. I contacted UTG and they told me the flashlight doesn’t have an on/off button for sound purposes. OK? When you rack a shotgun shell, I think everybody’s going to know it’s time to play.To turn the flashlight on and off you can push the end of the flashlight but you have to hold it or you can screw the cap all down to make the light stay on.The pressure switches for both are cool but again you have to hold them down constantly to make them stay on and for a pump shotgun they get in the way.I’m not an accessory guy just to look cool. People waste too much money on things to impress other people. My shotgun sits next to my bed, so if I am awaken In the middle of the night by a meth head that got lost in my house, I’m not fumbling around with a pistol and a flashlight from my nightstand. A pistol cartridge like a 9mm will go through every wall in my house. Not a risk I want to take with my kids in their bedrooms.

Nice combo! Love it
Overall a very nice product for the price and is a perfect addition to my DPMS Oracle AR-15. If you have a laser bore sight its extremely easy to sight in the laser. I've put a few hundred rounds through my AR-15 and found the laser to be accurate. Two things that make this UTG absolutely awesome. First, the quick release bar. Putting it on and taking it off is REALLY simple. It's convenient when trying to figure out where it is most comfortable to mount it. The second is that it comes with two optional pressure switches: one for the light and one for the laser. You don't have to use them. I actually don't use the one on the laser. It's mounted near my forward grip so it's easy to press the button with my thumb (it clicks on so it'll stay on). The light, I have on a pressure switch on my main grip. With the light, I don't want to keep it on and paint my location. The only down side: the pressure switches may need some help depending on where on your weapon you mount them. Just so you know. Not a problem really, just get creative with some electrical tape or use a better velcro strips.

This is quality made! UTG in my experience is the most bang for your buck
So I had bought a Tacticon Light / Laser combo. Right when I took it out of the box I was worried because it was made out of plastic. I was correct to worry. It was terrible. I could just twist it and and it would move and go off sight right on my dinning room table. I tightened it and the bolt stripped right away. But, this UTG combo looks like it would be huge and bulky. It actually sits tight to rifle. It is long but man it is bright. You have two remote quality push buttons if you want to use them. One for the laser and one for the light. If you mount it on a fore grip you can push which ever one or both. They are shrink wrapped so water is not a worry. The battery compartment has a rubber gasket so I assume water won't be an issue. The whole thing is aluminum and don't worry about the "quick disconnect" you can made it so you can't even use that. I cranked this thing right down. This mounts very stable. The laser is quality and has great distance. This is my third UTG product 2 4 sided rail systems and now this combo. I am happy with all of them. This is a buy for sure. I got it on sale for 65 bucks. Some other more name brands want 200 to 300 which is nuts. Thanks UTG for your reasonable quality products. I have not used it on the range I will come back and to this when I do. I have no worries it will be fine.

weird design with no on/off button only momentary but has some good features
This thing is a bit overpriced so I bought a used one and what a mistake the thing obviously was hit hard. The real problem was that this only comes with a solid metal end cap that appears to be a push button but doesnt move! Im forced to use momentary setup. Just not good for hunting coons and varmints at night as I planned. I sent this back but before I did, I was looking at it more and this really is a nice piece a bit more compact than 2 separate modules and the bracket is nice. The light is only so-so. I don't know why the major brands are all behind in lumens vs the rest of the industry. Either way, I added one star. The laser is actually very nice and powerful. This just was not for me because not on/off feature. Only has temporary on. Take 10 bucks off and add better control and it is a winner.

Go Green!
I purchased more for the light than I did for the laser, seeing it as just a bonus. But when compared to my light laser combo in red, this green is head and shoulders above! Brighter, easier to see at longer ranges, and can be adjusted/swiveled to the user's preference. Mounted on a Mini 14 with tactical stock, the light illuminates entire hallways and rooms with ease. And adjusting the laser to match my red dot was easy, getting me minute of soda can accuracy at 50 yards no problem. This thing is a gimmick buy for me, but it's a fun gimmick!
