This is for the NEW Nintendo 3DS XL
Someone complained that it doesn't fit... it actually says that it's for the "New" model of the Nintendo 3DS XL. I think many people get it confused because of the weird naming convention, but yeah, it should fit if you own the updated model. Mine fits almost perfectly, one edge looks slightly more "raised" but everything holds on snug so it looks as pictured for the most part. It does look classy/mature, I really like the silver touch.

Terrible.
This was the worst case i could have ever bought for my 3DS XL it didn’t even fit on the 3DS it kept popping off and didn’t fit I rate this zero stars this is a terrible case,
