The wife nagged me into acquiring this article...she got sick of watching me dangling off trees and ladders! so, had a good search and decided to acquire this harness...mainly on the strength of previous reviews to be honest. Anyway, arrived promptly, and took about five minutes to sort out...no really...it was that simple. Very comfortable to wear, and looks the business! Indeed, at first glance, one might almost mistake me for a professional! Ok, I haven't actually fallen off anything as yet, so do not honestly know if the lanyard will save me. Watch this space...!

It holds my weight when I tested it on a swing hook mission impossible style, but it is very painful without padding or a larger contact patch like if it was a jacket instead of harness.Decent quality fixings and carrabiner, but you would need additional fixings to attach safely to scaffolding pipe. I suppose comfort comes second to preventing a fatal fall from height.This is considerably cheaper than a hire shop or even builders merchant, so worth it for diy jobs.

I can say that this harness appears to be very strong and well made especially considering the price which includes a substantial karabiner. I have not had the chance to use it 'in anger' so to speak but I am sure it would hold me in the case of an accident. Good value.
