I just started using this little guy so I am still learning how to use it. The most basic functions are easy to use. to start recording all you have to do is turn it on. The sound quality is great. I use it to record meetings so I don't know how it would be for music. In a meeting it picks up voices from about 20 to 30 feet away as clearly as though they were right next to you. I am amazed at how well it picks up voices at a distance. I am still learning how to use it so I can't say much more then that right now.

Long lasting battery, clear recording & playback. Thee only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I have to do a factory reset each time I use the voice activated feature to get it to respond to the setting. Its not that big of a deal as the recordings are all saves on pc, just a little annoying. All in all it is a great product.

It is really bad to go back and forward on what I recorded, and to go to the other recording and it is to confusing. Just did not like at all. They don’t have option to go fast and slow when you want to take notes from one part and the other part is not that important if I had the option I would put faster. Not worth the money.

Overall this recorder has great features and I was very happy with it until I actually tried to use it. It does all they say it does except that it has a very limited range to pick up audio, so not good if the speaker is not in very close proximity to the unit. If you plan to use it close range then it is a great little device and I would recommend it. But if you are hoping to record lectures/plays/speakers that are any distance at all away from the unit then it just doesnt pick up the audio. What it does pick up is clear and it is easy to use, file management is easy. I am very disappointed as it is so great overall I really want it to work for me, but just not picking up audio at any distance at all. It says for lectures but unless it is a small room or you are close to the speaker, nope.

I record all day several days if I want on one charge. Enough storage for a month! I’ve owned many over the years and this is the best. Filenames are exact date and time recording starts. Maintains DateTime stamp accurately all month.

Cant tell how much battery life is left
