Unbelievable value!
Having just recently suffered pinched nerve(s) in my neck I was forced with the reality of having to not sit all day. In fact, I couldn't sit for a week or two if I tried. I hadn't really thought all these standing desks were any more of a fad but here I was needing one.I only bought the frame as I already had a Swedish desktop. One of the hollow honeycomb ones. I wasn't too sure if I was going to be able to attach it to this or not but I took a chance (it was fine). The frame arrived seriously well packed with a good inch of foam around it all. Just as well since somewhere along its journey someone had managed to puncture all the way through the box. Not a scratch though which was good.Apart from how heavy it was, which was a bit of a challenge with my injury, it was pretty simple to put together. As with all things, as a tip, don't fully tighten the bolts until you have everything in place and are about to attach your desktop, then go round and tighten everything. I had a couple of screw holes that didn't line up but loosening things allowed it all to sit in place correctly. There doesn't appear to be a collision detection feature despite the controller having sensitivity settings for it, and the manual doesn't give the correct procedure for storing the height settings, but it's not hard to work out.Motor is a lot quieter than I was expecting which is nice and even at over 1m in height with everything on top of it there's really very little wobble. A little I guess. I worked it all out and I'm at less than half the specified weight capacity.Final thing - you can see that I have some cable clutter but having a desk that goes up and down has really made me sort it all out and this is so much cleaner and tidier now than it used to be. For 5 minutes at least! This was for my hobby desk, I fully intend to purchase another of these for my work desk now that I know I don't need to spend a fortune to get something decent.

Solid frame
So, I was skeptical of purchasing this initially. At £180 (as they had a £20 promo) it seemed too good to be true, as the other most popular one on Amazon was £240 - which I was going to buy. Usually, if something is too good to be true, that's because it is. Looked into the company, they have a YouTube channel and a good online presence, so nothing seemed off there. Well reviewed and checking the warranty, it was quite lengthy at 5 years, which usually shows the company is willing to put their money where their mouth is and have confidence that their product isn't going to cost them in those 5 years.I only bought the frame, and paired it with a new BEKANT top from IKEA (£55, 602.531.84, lucky to find one in stock locally to collect), both in white. All in, it cost me around £250, which for a motorised memory standing desk and an IKEA desk top was incredible value. It looks really good and they compliment each other well.I needed to pickup some washers and screws, as the desk top isn't that thick. I used 4mm/5mm nickle washers (although nylon would have been better) with a bag of self tapping 4.8 x 16mm flange head black screws. I used the screws with a washer each for the frame, then 3-5 washers per screw for the control panel and the other mountable bits, like the cable management. Both of those I bought from Amazon as well, for all of a few quid, Connex washer kit and a bag of 100 Sealey screws. It only comes with machine screws to mount the official first party desk top, so you'll need to purchase some of your own if you want to use a different top.The frame came incredibly well packaged, Linus Sebastian would be proud. Super thick and foamy sponge, with cardboard reinforcements in the corners, as seen in the pictures. What isn't pictured is that the box does come with a thick foam piece covering the top as well. The box weighs a ton, but that is to be expected. It's mainly the legs that pile on the weight, but hey it makes the desk solid and sturdy, and the legs also appear to have an internal seal around the top to stop dirt getting in. All the parts are high quality and feel premium, nothing feels like its been cheaped out on. They have really thick rubber gaskets on all of the touch points between the frame and the desk top, which is excellent at reducing vibrations and noise between the top and the frame. The control panel uses a really nice soft silcone, with stylish buttons and a bright sharp digital figure 8 style display, it looks really professional and the buttons feel satisfying to press. Its simple to put together with clear and well produced instructions, with their 30 minute estimate being accurate. My only gripe is the motor/frame is a bit noisy when its moving, but considering its used for only a few seconds during adjustment, its not a deal breaker. Not a grating sound, more just mechanical movement. It's smooth and has no problem lifting a fair amount of weight (macbook, 27" monitor, custom build pc, peripherals, cables mounted underneath, etc.). I stand 6'2", and at 110cm its comfortable to use stood up with no wobble or frame movement (I tihnk the max is 120cm?), it feels as sturdy as when its at my sitting height of 74cm which is excellent! It only takes around 5 seconds to adjust between those two heights, which is quick. So far, no complaints! Hoping the motor remains good and the leg mechanisms too.

Excellent quality standing desk system
1) The stand and parts are all solidly constructed and can easily take the weight of a desk worktop - built to last2) Great clear step-by-step instructions. A lot of these products have very poor guides that make assembling a very frustrating experience.3) Works great4) Customer service - I had a faulty control unit and their customer team promptly sent a replacement without issue via speedy courier service5) Areas to improve - the control unit is the only part I worry about durability. It is fitted under the desk which means the arm rest of a chair could easily damage the piece. I'd suggest maybe a fitting on the top of the worktop to avoid this issue and making it a little more durable.

Incredible value for money
Most motorised standing desks on amazon use the same distributors, so you're often getting the same parts for a different price. This was the lowest price I could find in the category, but it's great value compared to competitors with very little compromise. The only things I can dock it for are the wobble when fully expanded (very common in the budget category of standing desks motor or no) and the lack of collision prevention (there was a setting to change this feature's sensitivity in the OSD but none of them worked for my unit). That said everything else about it is solidly built and functions very well. It was very easy to set up, everything was clearly labelled and well-packaged, and I've enjoyed using it hugely since. To get access to the benefits of using a standing desk (comfort, posture, back pain relief etc.) at this price is a no-brainer to me, and I'd gladly buy it again or recommend it to others.

Definitely worth the price
The media could not be loaded. Great and fairly easy to put up. Only downside is that the up arrow ^ doesn’t work sometimes. Requires different angles with your finger for it to detect you’re pressing it - maybe it’s just mine that’s slightly faulty. Also read instructions before you use it otherwise the legs won’t be aligned.
