It’s a spooktacular ghost story when the ghouls of Monster High visit the creepy howlways of Haunted High in Monster High Haunted movie. But when things take a spooky turn, the ghouls come together to save Spectra Vondergeist from a life of chains -- detention chains. Choose from Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura and Twyla dolls. Their ghostly looks are totally wooo-nderful with translucent skin and lacy, pastel fashions adorned with chain details. Each will learn how to float with the rest of the Haunted High student disembody by using the boogie sand that comes in the doll’s bracelet. Use the included hairbrush to style a hair-raising look. Then pose the doll in the translucent, chain link stand for a hauntingly boo-tiful display that makes the doll appear to float! Collect them all to haunt your own howlways with monster fun! Includes doll wearing fashion and accessories, doll stand and hairbrush. Each sold separately. Ages 6 and older.

Twyla's Getting Ghostly to visit Haunted High
I'm personally a collector of these dolls, but I'll be reviewing them mostly with perspective of parents/grandparents/other adults looking at this and deciding if this doll's worth their money to get for their kid for the holidays or later. I'm personally a huge sucker or Twyla dolls with her being the only character of the entire franchise I own every version of to date so unlike my other reviews this one might be a tad bit bias, but I'll try to avoid being so.With the boogie sand in the hourglass on her bracelet Twyla has become a ghost like her friend Spectra Vondergiest to visit her old school that's in trouble, Haunted High. With this Twyla's face has a spray paint effect over her eyes similar to the 2013 Target exclusive Polterghoul doll, but instead of it being a violent hot pink it's now a soft cyan color when on Twyla. She is considered a budget doll so she's not as detailed as the Student Spirits dolls, but she's marked a bit more than the franchises other budget dolls because unlike them she comes with a brush and stand unique to the Haunted line with the stand allowing her to look like she's float like a ghost would. Despite otherwise being a budget doll with less detail being invested into her it doesn't mean there isn't any at all. She has a very cute grey headband with a bow that I actually didn't take much notice to until I got her myself. Her dress is a bit basic with just some tool over a cute spider theme pattern, but over it she has a series of chain to weigh her down (think Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol) that work as a belt. She also has cute translucent blue shoes that you can't fully appreciate until you have her as the platform heels are beds; pretty clever for the daughter of the Boogeyman. Also, compared to other Twyla dolls her hair is much lighter and softer color to go with the pastel theme the Getting Ghostly line has.Overall this doll's really cute if you don't own a Twyla and even if you do there's enough differences between this one and her past dolls to separate her from the rest. She is truly on of the best budget dolls Monster High has to offer right now, as is the rest of Getting Ghostly (I don't have her but I'm tempted to also get Draculaura's).

Prettiest Monster High Doll!
Gorgeous design. 7 year old daughter loves it. One of the prettier monster high dolls. Comes with unusual stand. Only downside was I saw it at half price in the supermarket after I'd purchased it!

Twyla Makes the Perfect Ghost
The new Monster High “Haunted” dolls are ghost versions of some favorite monster high characters. This ghost version of Twyla is my favorite – her color scheme and styling are just perfect. Twyla still has light purple skin and wispy smoke tendrils on her forearms and lower legs. Her hair is mostly the same seafoam green color she usually has, but this time she has streaks of light lavender in her hair and it looks amazing. Twyla has purple eyes and frosty pink lips, and in her ghost version she has a metallic seafoam green mask painted over her eyes. The “Getting Ghostly - Haunted” dolls, including Twyla, come with a doll stand that makes them appear to float. The stands are made of a translucent blue plastic “chain” and the stand holds the doll beneath the arms instead of around the waist. This is a bit different than the standard MH doll stand. The hairbrush she comes with has also been restyled into a ghost theme.Twyla is wearing a sleeveless dress in mint green with a lavender cobweb and spider print. The neck and waist of the dress have a sheer floaty lavender overlay. Twyla’s high heeled shoes also have a cobweb theme, and the shoes are a ghostly translucent blue. Twyla’s accessories include a silver chain belt, a silver headband and blue bracelet . Like all Monster High dolls, she has multiple points of articulation and can be posed in just about any way you can imagine. She is made for play, but has small parts that can be lost if not handled with care.I just love this version of Twyla. She really does make the perfect ghost - a great fit for the Daughter of the Boogey Man.
