Works exactly how I envisioned, keep the dogs from entering. It doesn’t fit exactly , but it works fine for my 8 lb dog., not sure if it would constraint a larger dog., I think they will be able to push it down.

I had been using a wooden baby gate outside to keep my siberian husky up on the porch. I used it for about two years and had to manually take it down every time people came over, i carried in groceries, or I walked my dog in the yard. Sometimes we forgot to put it back up, mistakenly let the pup out and had to chase him down. ugh. Now I'm 5 months pregnant and climbing over the wooden gate is not as easy as it once was. I started looking at gates and after reading reviews and looking at prices I settled on this one. It fits perfectly and took me 5 minutes to install. The instructions couldn't be any easier. It's very sturdy, definitely not going to fall down. The look of the gate wasn't a priority when picking one, but this one is very nice. It's doesn't look cheap at all. I can't believe I didn't know about these sooner.

This is the second baby gate we've purchased, as the other we bought had a difficult closure. This one thankfully opens and self closes with ease - (the door swings open and shut nicely) and is easy enough for the other kids in the house to open without yanking on it. Only issue was that it wasn't wide enough to fit in a standard staircase (which is where we put ours) and so my husband had to use a 2x4 on one side of the wall in order to make it work.

We absolutely love this gate! We ended up purchasing 2 more and plan on a third! They are very easy to install, came with their own wrenches, and extenders! VERY easy to open and close, and we love the self closing feature if the gate is not fully opened. We purchased these gates to keep our very curious puppy out of the hallway rooms! We love that they are metal and the black gates are very attractive!

The gate is exactly what we needed. More importantly, the customer service was absolutely amazing! Thank you guys so much!UPDATE! We have installed all 5 gates and can't be happier. They are sturdy and beautiful. We have four kids so in the past 9 years, we've been through some gates. These are by far the nicest ones we've had and we love them. They open in both directions and are a bit taller then any of the others. Thank you again so much for such a great product at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend this to anyone in the market for a baby/pet gate.

Love this product, it's quality is durable and easy to use. We have little kids so it's so helpful to use this gate to block doorways into the kitchen or to keep them away from the TV and Electronics. Price is really good for the quality. I've used many gates for my kids and this one is really good compared to come other brands I've tried. This gate would also work if you have dogs and want to keep them contained in a room or certain area in your house.

I needed to block my 25 lb dog from part of the house, but need to pass through there routinely. The gate opens easily with one hand on the 2-part latch. It swings closed in either direction on its own and latches. If you want to leave it open, just leave the gate fully opened. You need to get used to the bar across the bottom of the opening to avoid stubbed toes. I'm very happy with the gate!

Flimsy not as strong as old school baby gates. Which is a total bummer. Wasn't strong enough. Which became a safety factor for the stairs, now unable to use since we are grandparents.
