I am so glad that I purchased this hula hoop. I have become a hula hoop fanatic!!! I have a great workout with my new toy. I wanted it especially for my stomach.I never knew weighted hoops existed until my daughter told me to check Amazon. I have been really pleased, and will continue to review Amazon for items I want to purchase in the future. I would recommend this hoop to those who want to work on their tummy's.

Maybe I'm a little biased because my childhood hula hooping skills came back almost immediately. I got this because my daily walking regimen has been curtailed because of problems with my feet. With the hoop I can get an easy workout without having to move a foot. The hoop is quite rigid and the instructions warn that you may experience a little bruising at first - they're right. None-the-less, this is a great value for money and I also like that I can break the hoop down and pack it easily when I travel.

The weighted hula hoop allows those of us who are no longer kids, hoop like we are. Very easy to put together, I was hooping in no time. I put on a golden oldie and hoop away. It makes a great aerobic workout. It also gives a great workout for the waist and hips. I recommend it for those who want to work out, but don't want to spend much time doing it.

I love this hula hoop. I was worried when it came in 8 pieces that had to be snapped together, but it's been very sturdy. The size and weight seem to make a big difference in successful hula hooping - I've had no problem keeping it up and going. If you're new to hula hooping, start slow - like only a minute or two a day - because your muscles will get sore. That part goes away soon, tho.

my daughter is in the peace corps in west africa. she wanted a hoola hoop. i thought she was kidding. ask for the impossible. then i found this product that breaks down into a small box. it was a huge hit in her village.... her fellow workers in service as well as locals. many laughs and much fun and good exercise.... not that she needed more exercise living in the bush!

I was surprised by extremely fast shipping. I received it the next day after I ordered it! Very easy to put together. I like the idea of taking it apart because I can take it with me when i travel or to save space when I don't use it. After the first couple of uses my waist was hurting a bit, but it's nothing horrible and i think it's normal. I really enjoy to use my hoop, it's so fun and easy. I love my new hoop!

I haven't Hula Hooped in a long long time. I was okay at it, But when i got this I tired it and I was wonderul. I am GOOD at this. My daughters tired this also maybe with a little practice they will get it. This is an awesome Hula Hoop. If you have doubts don't you need to get this. What a great way to get fit,

Hula hoop came in parts but easy to assemble and disassemble. The packaging was in a reasonable size box, great for storing and travel. Was as the description stated. Haven't used it daily so not sure yet about durability but seems to be. Be warned, you will experience bruising if not an avid hooper.
