It’s Sea-sational! I love this hydrating blend 💦
This marine skin serum smells refreshing, spreads easily, absorbs fully, and is affordably priced! The beautiful blue glass bottle features a reliable pump dispenser, and a printed expiration date appears helpfully on the back of the bottle. I’ve had great results with repeated daily use of this product, and I love that it contains sea water, ceramides, AND aloe vera! This has been another great K-beauty brand discovery for me, and I’d definitely recommend this specific product to anyone else in search of a gentle but moisturizing formulation for dry or dehydrated skin!

floral fragrance, contains sodium hyaluronate, aloe & ceramide, made in Korea
This THE SKIN HOUSE Marine Active serum comes in a bright blue bottle, but the serum itself is a slightly milky translucent color and it has a lightweight, gel-like texture that absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It has a floral scent from fragrance, and it also contains alcohol in the ingredients, which can be drying. It didn't up causing skin irritation for me, but those who are sensitive to drying alcohols or fragrance may want to avoid. It also contains many standard and effective serum ingredients: sodium hyaluronate for moisture retention, aloe for soothing, ceramide for skin barrier repair. The pump dispenser works well. It's made in Korea. The outer box and the bottle are marked clearly with the expiration date. The ingredients are listed in both English and Korean on the outer box, but not on the bottle. The full list of ingredients is:Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, Butylene glycol, Betaine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Alcohol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ceramide NP, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Propylene Glycol, Sea Water, Honey, Pearl Extract, Xanthan GUM, Arginine, Carbomer, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, PVM/MA Copolymer, Styrene/VP Copolymer, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Fruit Extract, Lilium Tigrinum Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Seed Extract, Chrysanthemum Indicum Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Myrciaria Dubia Fruit Extract, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Ecklonia Cava Extract, Hizikia Fusiforme Extract, Codium Tomentosum Extract, Gelidium Cartilagineum Extract, Leontopodium alpinum extract, Buddleja Davidii Extract, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Flower Extract, Camellia sinensis Callus Culture extracts, Parfum (Fragrance), Ethylhexylglycerin

Lightweight serum.
This serum is very lightweight, and is great for the summer, or for under makeup. I'm in my fifties, so I could probably benefit from another moisturizer over this. However, it really seems to be adequate as a moisturizer. It takes a few minutes to dry, but then your skin is left smooth, and feels comfortable. I like it. I do not use this around my yes--I use a separate eye cream for that.

A bit too heavy for me
I prefer a serum that soaks in fully and this one is just a bit too heavy for that. It does work well as an overnight, I just didn't love it as much as I adore their Marine Active Cream. That stuff is lovely and light and plays well with all my other skin care products. Oh well.

very good for $17
this serum is really cheap but it’s better than some $20-$35 serums out there. it’s lightweight but still does a great job keeping my skin hydrated. sometimes i’ll mix this with other products to get that extra moisture boost when my skin feels a little parched or dry in some areas. the skin house is an affordable beauty brand that’s been around for a while in korea, and their main customers tend to be college students and people in their 20s who want to take care of their skin but have a budget. their stuff in general is pretty good for people older than their 20s too tho, especially if you want decent quality for cheap. i think their products are better than most of the drugstore stuff available here in the states and i recommend this brand to anyone who doesn’t like to spend too much on skincare or have to work within a budget. the serum doesn’t irritate my skin or case any break outs so it gets 5 stars from me.

Very good, affordable serum
I love that this doesn't feel oily or tacky. It spreads evenly, just a tiny amount, and soaks in quickly. Very moisturizing to my slightly dry skin. No issues with sensitivity either. It has a VERY slight floral scent that goes away fast, otherwise I'd be complaining since I like unscented skincare products. I use this on my face, neck, chest and even around my eyes.

Terrific value
K beauty soothing hybrid hyaluronic acid serum with aloe and ceramides. Really soothing after my nano micro-needling home sessions. Slight pleasant scent, which shouldn’t bother most. Just make sure you follow with an occlusive moisturizer to lock in the moisture.
