Good to collect milk but also reduce friction to nipples
I bought these to help collect milk inbetween feeds and from side not feeding on. They have also been really useful at soothing nipple discomfort as stops friction from clothes and provide 360 area of no contact with nipples. I found them hard to snap together first time but since then very easy and not experienced any leaking.

Wish I had bought these sooner!
I am 9 days post-partum with my first baby and I didn’t know that breasts would leak so much! Breast pads were getting soaked too quickly and my midwife suggested I got ‘nipple shells’. There are so many on Amazon and so many conflicting reviews with some people saying how great they are and others finding flaws. However I came across these Elvie ones (which I knew was a good brand) and noticed there were a lot of good reviews. I thought I’d give it a go.These literally arrived this morning and I’m already writing a review saying how great they are! They are a hard shell on the outside with a soft silicone inside that sits against the breast with a hole for the nipple. There isn’t any suction, they just sit in your bra and collect the milk. So as long as your bras is fitted, they slot in nicely and don’t move about. It’s also a great rest for my nipples as breast pads were getting soggy and also sore from rubbing. They are also a nice shape and you can’t tell you have them in your bra at all! 100% worth getting and I feel like a new woman already as not having soggy bras and tops. Hope this helps those who are searching like I was.

Stops me leaking all over my baby!
I’d have to change my kid’s clothes after every feed because the side I wasn’t feeding from would just leak all over them. I was using a Hakka but it kept getting in the way. I literally bought these yesterday and came to write a review now because these are a game changer. No leaking, baby is dry. Last night’s feed was a dream! I was worried they’d leak because there’s no suction but I just tightened my bra straps and I’ve had no issues. So easy to clean because there’s just two bits. I’ve been throwing the excess but I’ve been keeping track today and I could have saved 5oz by midday today. I was a 38B before and probably about a 38C/D now and they fit perfectly in my bra and you can’t tell they’re there. Highly, highly recommend!

Every little helps
Bought to help combat leaks especially when breastfeeding. Useful to help catch milk which can be added to expressed milk bags. Easy to clean and fit inside bra without leaking but remember not to bend over whilst wearing as have made that mistake more than once.

Do the job well
They catch really well with no leaks, don’t get damaged by the steriliser and are so comfy that I forgot I was wearing them and left the house for a meal

Good to catch excess
Good for the beginning when your milk comes in. There's no suction so need a bra to keep them in place, which is fine for me. I was really sensitive so was hoping these would help for friction against clothes and they did but I found the edges to be a bit sharp against my skin after wearing them for a bit so ended up taking them off to. When you open them to clean then, it takes a minute to figure out how to get them back together but once you've got it, it's easy. Useful for me but only for a few weeks and then you don't need them anymore.

Good alternative to disposable pads
A great idea to catch let down through the day rather than using disposable pads. Personally through the day I don’t leak enough to fill the cups, but I do catch small amounts, which I then use to add to my baby’s bath or applying to baby scratches/ spots. The silicone edges mould well to the shape of my breasts and they’re easily concealed inside of my nursing bra without looking odd or bulky. The catcher itself is hard, which means I have to remove them to cuddle my baby if I’m not wearing a padded bra. They’re not a must for a new mum, but certainly help limit waste (of both breast pads and milk !!) so good idea to buy if on sale !

Fantastic
+They do not leak and look discrete.- But they are expensive, and the hole for nipples is small, hard (no soft cushion like on my others)& sometimes rubs around the skin. But overall I prefer these because of above first two points +.
