I wanted to find a way to organize my ribbons. It is going to take a lot of time to unravel all of them onto the cardboard.

I put all my craft ribbons on the four-inch spools and saved a lot of room in this drawer. These spools worked perfectly and I had no problem with the quality of them. I used straight pins to hold the ends in place. I haven’t decided which way I will place the spools in the drawer. The photo shows the spools on the short end and the long end.

I bought these to organize the thinner ribbons in my collection. They have reduced my clutter by more than 60% but these are real small and don't sit well if the box is not full. As I was rolling the ribbon on the board the corners started to bend if they bumped on anything or just my hands. I honestly would not order these again and if I could of returned them I would have. I just didn't feel like it was worth the hassle to undo all the ribbon I had already switched over and leave it out till the new wooden boards came in. Wish these were made more sturdy. I would only recommend these for ribbon of 1 inch or smaller in with. If you can afford to spend a little more, I would invest on buying the wooden ones because those will last you a lifetime.

These are perfect for what i wanted. They are not flimsy, and they come in a few sizes. I have a few hundred rolls of ribbon, they take up so much space, so I found these and have been taking ribbon off spools and onto the bobbins. I've still got about 50 to go - and then need to figure out how I want them stored - clear containers are in my future now.

I did not know how useful cardboard could be. The size of these was small, but they hold a few yards of ribbon in a limited space. I was surprised by how much space store bought spools of ribbon can take up. All the different sizes really do make it hard to organize. These arrived today and I was happy to wind my ribbon onto them. The ribbon is easy to see and it works just like the pics on this listing. I’ll buy more!

Did not receive 50 spools. only 45 spools were in the pack.

I ordered the small set and found that I could get anywhere between a yard to 10 yards depending on the width and thickness of the ribbon. First I did an inventory of the widths of my ribbon to insure they were smaller than the narrow part of the spool. Many were and I knew I could easily use the 50 set. On a few I was really pushing the limit of the spool and truly should be on a medium. I’ve used paper clips to keep the end in place. I ordered the medium set today and will redo some of the small spools so the ribbon won’t be so fat…lol. The thickness is more than adequate for use but remember it is not plastic or hardboard! I saw on another review how a person was storing them which is a help. The container I had been using is half empty so I’ll need to put in dividers or use narrow baskets to keep them in order.

All of us crafters have a TON of stuff! So much stuff and never enough space! These are SO handy so keep your ribbon organized and free up some space. They are very sturdy, but can bend if you are not careful. I was able to put more than one roll of ribbon on some of these. Instead of having 4 spools of white ribbon, you can wind them all on one to see just how much you have of a certain ribbon. Or you can put coordinating colors or patterns together if you know you are going to want to use them on the same project. Definitely recommend!
