BPD-1 Bear Power 2 HP High Velocity Pet Groomer Dryer, Turquoise

After 14 years of using a regular blow dryer for our dogs, this dryer is a very welcome change. Cut the drying time in half. Have only used it once so far, but very happy. Only negatives is it is very loud and the plastic pieces feel a bit cheap, so hope it holds up for the long term. Our long time groomer recommended this dryer out of all of the dryers on the market and I trust her judgment. Probably better, more expensive options for more professional groomers. But, for a once a month or as needed household dryer, this is probably the best buy. Will see how it holds up for the long term.

This dryer was definitely worth the money spent! I have a 100 pound Golden Retriever with a little chow mixed in (meaning thick hair), and if he is not completely dry after a bath, he will get sores and skin infections so I needed to invest in a good dryer that wouldn't take all day. What normally would take an hour and a half to completely dry with a human blow dryer only took 15-20 minutes with this dryer! I was nervous about heat, but it never got hot just a little warm. The two settings are perfect, i used the high setting on most of his body and the low setting around his head and feet. The hose and wall chord are just long enough, the extra heads work great, and I like the color too! Definitely worth every penny!

I have used these dryers for about 8 years. Love them for lower powered drying on frightened animals. The only thing I didn't like on this last one is that the hose is too stiff, it is hard to bend it to my needs. I usually hang it on one end of my table and this one is so stiff, it won't drape but luckily I had the hose from my old one to exchange them.

For what this dryer is, it's awesome! I'm used to a K9 II dryer so it's a bit difficult to get used to the change in power. But with that being said, this dryer is great! It's decently powerful and does heat up a bit but not to the point where I ever get concerned for the dogs!! The 2 different speeds are great! I wouldn't really consider using this dryer on bigger dogs but other than that I definitely recommend this product!!! :D
