Was searching for a blade suitable for making neat cuts in Hardie VL planks for my project. This works really well. Done a fair few cuts already and it's still working like new. Dust is minimal. The Hardie instructions suggest cutting the back side of the board for a neat finish but having tried a few cutting the painted side up is giving me a really clean cut.

When it was delivered, i thought the blade looked cheap and nasty, but i decided to try it at work for cutting ash blocks and thermolite blocks. Wowww it works way better than i imagined. Its an awesome blade.

So far so good don’t know about blade life yet

I wish I had discovered this before. I used for cutting large sheets of cement board with a Mafall track saw and vacuum. Massively better than any other method (angle grinder etc). Goes through 12mm cement board like butter and very cleanly.

Bought this as a cheaper alternative to the official Hardie blade for cutting a load of Hardie VL board, it was like a knife through butter, great cut edges, very pleased.

I used this blade to cut up multiple sheets of cement board for an onsuite shower prior to tiing. No issues, no problems, it carved through them like the proverbial hot knife through butter. At a price half that of the big tool makers, we'll worth the purchase.The beauty of it being in my track saw is that attached to an extractor it produced almost no dust. Brilliant!

Definitely worth the money

Cuts through Hardy Backer 12mm Cement Board with ease. Best to use in conjunction with a dust extractor if using this blade for cement bard.
