Like others, got the wrong gate. Ordered the wooden cherry finish, got a black wrought iron one instead. Terrible quality and finish. There were multiple rust spots, bubbling and chipping paint all over it. The flange to tighten the set screw is gapped too wide and the setscrews don't even come close to hitting the frame, which also sags in the middle due to poor finish and gaps. The base feet need lock washers, the screws and feet won't tighten and come loose.

I acknowledge that I chose to order a "Used - Like New" condition item to save some money, however even if it is used "Like New" condition should have included of course the necessary hardware to assemble, adjust and hold the two sliding gates together. Otherwise it should have stated "Used - But Missing Hardware" or something to advise the buyer. In a small bag taped to the a gate piece it did include the 2 wood screws that are optional to secure the 2 feet if one choses to, but I do not choose to so I don't even need those. Aggravating.

We recently adopted a small-breed dog and needed to keep him out of the part of the house where our elderly cats spend most of their time. The area we needed to block off is 44" across, and all of the standard baby gates we've found (including one we already own) only span up to 42".Since we're hoping the need to block the dog is temporary (once he learns not to chase everything) we didn't want something that we had to mount to the wall. This gate has been perfect. It's placed on tile and though he's bumped into it when chasing a toy or a ball, it stays put. The height is also convenient since it's placed in a high traffic area. We chose the walnut finish and it's very pretty, and goes well with the other dark wood in our home.We decided to screw the feet into the unit so we can easily pick the whole thing up to move it out of the way, and I was able to screw them in with just a screwdriver (no pilot holes are provided). For some reason it doesn't say in the item description, but as I said we've got it blocking our 44" opening, and it could easily extend another six inches before needing an expansion.

I bought these gates to use around the Christmas tree to keep the dog out. Works great & they’re easy to adjust. I bought the natural color and painted them my wall color to make them look a little nicer.

We got so tired of stepping over baby gates and just wanted a barrier to keep our two Westies out of the office in our home.Low height works really well, and wood is so much nicer than plastic. My husband thought a bit pricey, but well worth the money.Easy to set width and easily remove.A keeper!

Do not waste ur time or money on this product. I bought this gate to keep my 9 month old from going up 3 stairs in our living room, ut worked for a week and then it started falling apart. When I say falling apart I mean, the legs came loose and then it started cracking. This is junk and made very cheap. I have returned and will not buy another.

oh boy - all the reviews here are right. this is a piece of poop. it's so light and fragile that it will not stop any dog/cat.i have it in a part of my house that don't get much traffic so its ok for me. but i did have to tape it up a little bit bc it was a bit wobbly. So if you have no money to get the more expensive one - this will work but it only if it can be braced against a doorway or something like that

I was very pleased when I first looked at the gate. Very attractive and perfect for my space.ONLY one problem, the material has the weight and strength of spray foam. One touch against a service and the legs and bars completely fell apart. The parts don't fit together snuggly so you can't even glue it.Do not be tempted by the appearance, its junk!

This product is NOT worth the cost of this item. It’s very cheaply made and doesn’t attach to your wall for security. It isn’t a clean look either as it sits infront of your wall with its giant feet posts. Was not happy with this at all especially considering how much they charge for this

We are loving this gate. We've had it for two years now and our doggie stays put when we put the gate out. It's easy to move, fits most doorways, and easily put out of the way too. We love it.

Can be move easily by dogs also a bit difficult to extend or shorten. Not as practical as i expected.

I used it to separate my dog from the kitchen and it does its job perfectly. I also like the color since it matches with our furniture. The price is rly good too.
