Pixel 5-5G so far so good
It was rather a big jump throughout pixel generations for me, as I've upgraded from pixel2 to 5-5G, but been following all ups and downs of previous models, and I'm not disappointed with this purchase. It also might be the personal preference, as I was hooked up since nexus times, so can't be very objective in comparison to competitors' flag models, but so far I'm happy with the improved screen, camera and battery life.Overall the phone looks&feels good and performs as expected. The downside was the migration process of the gallery to the new device, the file system looks like a hot messs now, but all in all everything was backed up, so no dataloss. Lesson learned from the old pixel - the screen was very fragile and has cracked quickly (comparing to Motorola screens that lasted for years in our family). So this time I've purchased the variety of screen protectors from day one, just in case. I've also noticed plenty of camera protectors on the market for this model, so I guess it will be my next purchase for the sake of scratch- and crack-free camera glass. It was odd to see the missing speaker holes on the top and bottom of the screen. But it still gives you a decent sound to the ear while on the call mode or from the speakers that were moved to the lower side of the case.5g technology is yet to be tested, only time will reveal, but all in all, good phone. If you're a pixel fan, don't miss the opportunity and grab yourself the decent device if there any good offer out there.
