Women's High Waisted A line Street Skirt Skater Pleated Full Midi Skirt

This is a beautiful skirt, especially for the price. It even has a lining inside, and it has pockets. I paired mine with a fitted turtleneck from a certain "bullseye" store, and the entire outfit cost me around thirty bucks. A friend told me it was "very Betty Draper," and it is a cute retro look. The fabric does not look cheap or flimsy, though I will need to steam it before wearing. This fits at the natural waist -- the top of the skirt is just under the ribcage. This is a very slimming, flattering skirt. I usually wear a 2 or 4, and I ended up with the size small. My waist measures 26.5 inches, and in the XS, there was no room to tuck in a shirt. The small is slightly loose, but not so much that it will be a problem. The rest of the skirt is A-line, so measure your natural waist for proper fit. The hips shouldn't matter much.

This is my 3rd up date on this skirt. I have bought all the colors now. I have found that the sizing is consistent in all the skirts. I love all the colors. I normally buy my skirts from Nordstrom, or Macy's, The navy skirt was my first clothing purchase on Amazon. I wear either a 10 or 12. The first high waisted, retro style skirt I bought was from Nordstrom. It was on sale for 82 dollars. This Amazon skirt is not the quality of the Nordstrom skirt, but it is fairly close. I wear a lot of skirts ( not a pant person). Toget the best look,wear it with a 26 inch petticoat. The fabric is similar to the fabric of my Nordstrom skirts. The skirt is a little shinny. I would have preferred more of matt finish. Even with that con, the skirts are beautiful. I highly recommend these skirts even if you are a Nordstom faithful shopper like me. People have complained about the zipper not working. I have not had that problem. But I read some place if you take a candle and rub it along the edges of the zipper ( the actual teeth of the zipper) it helps with sticking. I have gone retro skirt crazy with this beautiful skirt. Glad it is such a reasonable price. The skirt does not look like it cost only 19.99. Thanks Amazon for this one.

I'm always looking for skirts with box pleats as I like the 50s look. I thought these skirts were box pleats. They are not. They are regular, very wide pleats. The weird part is the front middle of the skirt. That's why all the photos I shared are of the pleats at the tummy area. The pleats on the left side are going a different direction than the pleats on the right side. They are not going all the same direction which leaves a weird triangle right in the middle of the tummy area. It gives the illusion that you have a tummy bulge whether you actually do or not. This is a bad design job and a deal breaker for me. I returned the skirts.PROS:1. Colors are vibrant and true to color. My photos are all of one skirt; Navy Blue. It may look like different colors, but they are just taken with different lighting. I also bought the Red and Wine Red at the same time. I loved the vibrant red, but I didn't even open it because of the way they are made with the weird pleats.2. Durable fabric.3. Nice lining on the inside.4. A pocket on each side.5. A zipper on the side.6. The zipper works great and runs pretty smooth.7. I like the length. It was below my knee. I'm 5 feet and 5 and 1/2 inches tall.8. The waist fit perfect as the size chart was true to fit. (There is no stretch in the waist.)CONS:1. Weird pleats that run two directions causing a weird look at the tummy.

Pros: This skirt was made of a nice, thick fabric that "poofed" out better than most skirts of similar styles (I did not use a petticoat and I'd say it was about as full as it is on the model). It was a good length (I am 5' 8'' and it hit me a few inches below the knee) and gave a very classic and classy silhouette.Cons: I ordered the skirt in black and the lining was very thin, cheap white cotton. The pockets were lined with this same white fabric and a sliver / flash of white around the pockets could be seen when the skirt was worn. The fabric used was also a little strange. Definitely synthetic, and reminded me the tiniest bit of the material used in seat belts. I returned this because it was ever-so-slightly too small, though maybe I was just being optimistic when I ordered! I also found that the zipper stuck quite badly near the top, where it had to go over the seam of the waistband.

This skirt is now an everyday wearer for me. I originally purchased the green for a St. Patrick's Day event, so I could look professional but still be in the spirit of the evening. I have since ordered the wine red, and will be ordering more! I have so many women stop me and ask me where I got this skirt, and I send them the link immediately.I am 5'3", 220 lbs, 37 waist, 48 hips, size 14w-18 in dresses, depending on the make. I ordered the XXL, and it fits exactly on me. I can't eat an extremely large meal, though, since the waistband has no elastic and no give.But do you know what this dress has that is wonderful? 1: it has a lining, and great fabric, nice and heavy-duty. I am not afraid of this disintegrating.And most importantly, 2: POCKETS. They're deep! It's like wearing men's pants, I have enough room to fit my wallet (a long wallet) and my phone in one pocket. It doesn't even make the cut look strange, given the way this skirt flares.I sometimes stick an umbrella in my pocket. And it barely hangs out.The pockets are the main reason women stop me in the street and ask where they can find one. I have had three friends order this skirt. I wear mine 3/7 days of the week.100% A+++worth it.

I waited so long for it to be delivered, I forgot I ordered it. I was disappointed when I opened it. It’s nothing like the description. The material is see through thin… no zipper, only an elastic band. I should have paid attention to the reviews but I dismissed them and decided to be optimistic. Won’t make this mistake again

The color is sensational, the length is perfect, below the knees, but not too below the knees! Pockets! YAY! It’s the perfect spring/summer skirt! Wear with tees/tanks or dress it up! I plan to wear hot pink sandals & belt with eyelet blouse! Hit PURCHASE and enjoy! xx

Looks like the picture. But very small in size

J'ai commendé une grandeur SMALL en me fiant à leur charte. Malheureusement il y avait un pouce de trop à la taille. Par contre, le tissus et la couleur sont très jolis. Les coutures sont solides et bien faites. J'aime la jupe et je vais tout simplement la faire rapetisser un peu. Si vous êtes intéressé par cette jupe, je vous suggère de commander un point plus petit que votre grandeur habituelle.
