Louis GarneauMen's CB Carbon 2 Padded, Compression, Performance Bike Shorts, Black, Small

Little by little, I am replacing my existing collection of shorts with these. I now own 3 pair and really like them. Louis Garneau is a super company and their attention to detail, and love of the sport, is evident in the entire product line.I ride on the road mostly and occasionally some trail riding. These shorts hold up well on longer "all day" rides and repeated washing (never dry them in dryer, hang dry).Sizing for me was "as expected". My pant size is 32-33 inches and I wear a medium.Spend a little more and get what you pay for.

So I was a Pearl Izumi guy for decades. But lately I've been finding, in very hot weather, the PI shorts irritate my butt at the seams of the chamois. It doesn't matter how much chammy butter I use. So I found these which were supposed to be great in the heat. They are! But more than that, they seem to give me at least as much comfort than the PI's with far less material. There's no diaper feel, and my parts never get numb, even on long climbs. And absolutely no irritations where the Chammy and short join together. I don't think they're quite as cool looking from the outside, but they are far cooler and better fitting inside. Way expensive but way great!

These are a bit expensive but if you're doing 50 and end up doing 100, they feels as good as when you started. I've put them through the wringer and they look as good as new! I like this so much it's all I wear and have subsequently bought two more! I highly recommend them. I a enrage 100 to 180 per week with four rides a week.

Very nice shorts. Light weight and breathable. The pad is cocomfortable. I use them for the bike leg of IM Canada.

I purchased these and the Louis Garneau CB Power Motion Short both in a size small. While the chamois on the CB Carbon feels and looks better the shorts themselves are way to tight. Even though they were tight around the thighs the legs still wanted to creep up. The CB Power Motion fits much better. I am sending these back.

Pricy yes, amazing yes, worth it yes. If you need high quality, extremely well fit and sleek, look no further, Garneau puts out great products at the right price.

These are very comfortable for the all day rides.
