As a camping buff with a less than stellar car, I was in the market for a reliable, portable, yet standalone jump starter that didn't require another car in case of emergencies. This jump starter fit the bill - the high capacity battery has held its charge in the two months that I've had it, and the LED is extremely bright. I've only used it once to jump start my car, and everything went smoothly. The carrying case is handy for keeping everything I needed in one place, and I've been able to use it to charge my phone with no problems as well. Highly recommended.

 AGA Multifunction Compact Car Jump Starter is a reliable must-have for every vehicle! This jump starter has a master on/off switch which is different than others I have seen. Other jump starters have just the power button that if bumped can turn it on by accident and waste battery power. AGA's has a master slide switch and a power button to prevent unwanted battery power waste. This jump starter has a non-slip coating around it with two grip "patches" on both sides. It comes in a zipper case that contains a universal USB cable that has many charger ends for any tablet or smartphone, an array of 5v, 9v or 12v adaptors, your jumper cable clamps, a wall power supply and a car charger.AGA's jump starter is very easy to use and has a flashlight at one end, in case you are in the dark. You will hold down the power button to turn on the flashlight, press once for strobe light mode, press once again for the emergency SOS light mode and press once more to turn off the flashlight. To view how much battery power you have left press the power button one time and the blue led light bar will illuminate and is your indicator for the amount of power left. To jump start your vehicle you plug the clamps in to the jump starter, attach the positive cable first and then the negative. Wait for a few seconds and start your vehicle!
