I bought the blankets as a gift for my daughter, since those have the characteristic of hypoallergenic. It turns out that she barely opened the wrapper, gave her a terrible allergy and we almost had to go to the hospital emergency. The blanket is not hypoallergenic! 

Got this Sherpa blanket for my brother battling cancer. He stays cold even during the summer heat. It allows him to be comfortably warm while us caretakers and visitors are less likely to overheat.

I bought this blanket because i saw it at someone's home and asked about it. We were swimming in the lake and came in wet... they suggested that it was ok to sit on the couch after placing this Sherpa blanket down.. the blanket is plush and soft on one side with a synthetic shearling on the opposite side.. Very snuggly and perfect for naps or staying warm while watching TV. What strikes me most is the overall cost value benefit...

Best purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. Something so simple and yet, life-changing. I used to go to sleep freezing every day, even WITH my thick comforter. With the addition of this blanket, I not only stay warm and cozy, I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE MY BED (which might be a con, if I really think about it)! I also have asthma that’s triggered by other blankets, but this does not trigger it at all! I am in love.

I have two other Sherpa blankets from Bare (ordered from Target) in Blue and Purple. Both are beautiful quality and unbelievably warm and soft, and yet still somehow light weight. The quality had remained the same after 2 washes. I ordered a third Bare Sherpa blanket in grey through Amazon (as Target didn't have the grey in stock and my family needed one more for us all to have one) and was very excited to receive it with the expectation of the same quality as the first two. The blanket ordered from Amazon has the same branding but the quality is definitely not the same. The grey blanket is missing a large chunk of fabric around the hem exposing the filling, has a huge pull on top, is unraveling on the fleece side, and is very stringy all over right out of the package. Such a disappointment and waste of time. Returning it as it is completely unusable.

I was looking for a really warm cozy blanket for the bed because I prefer to sleep in a cool room with warm covers. I certainly wasn’t expecting this to be my only cover but I did think it would be a great layer to snuggle under at bedtime. It wasn’t.It’s too lightweight for sleeping so it bunches up and it’s not long enough to even slightly go over the edge of the bed. I’m 5’4 and my feet would poke out when I laid down. Even though I have other covers it felt weird and the bunching up was a dealbreaker. Maybe if you sleep alone, sleep really still and are less than 5’4 it might work for you.However, it’s turned into my FAVORITE THROW EVER!! I would have rated it higher but I wasn’t looking for a throw, I had plenty. I needed a blanket. As a throw it’s the perfect weight. Light yet warm and super snuggly!! I’m so happy I bought it, and ended up being able to donate some other throws I had since this is my perfect couch cuddly throw.

I used to wake up intermittently throughout the night because I was cold and the throw blanket I was using on top of my comforter was only covering part of my body (or it was tossed to the side during sleep). I would use a space heater to warm up the room.With this blanket, there is no more waking up cold. It's thin but incredibly warm. I have a twin xl mattress and it covers really well from top-to-bottom and side-to-side.It's a very nice color as well.My only complaints would be that it did lose some of its softness on the underside after one gentle wash, and it picks up pet hair like you wouldn't believe. I expected as much, so I'm not really complaining.

This is a beautiful soft blanket. I love it. Fits an xl twin bed great. However I thought I was buying an electric blanket. So disappointed. However if someone is looking for a nice soft light weight yet warm blanket this would be a great one to buy. Would make a good throw blanket to cuddle up with on the couch. Needless to say have not washed it yet so don't know how it holds up.

Very, very soft and comfy. Love the color too. I loved that it was an extra large Twin XL so that there's lots of room on both sides of the mattress. Highly recommend.

Blanket is warm, durable and comfortable, color is beautiful.

I found it's length great for my extra long twin. Surprisingly warm and soft as well.
