Bulbrite 702707 - 7.5S11R - 7.5 Watt Red S11 Sign Bulb, Medium Base

I love this bulb! A few years ago, I bought a lamp for my shelf. Instead of a shade, this lamp has a crackled-looking glass cylinder that goes around the bulb. I wanted to put a red bulb in it and use it as a night light, but the red cfl bulbs I bought at the store were too bright. This bulb, however, is perfect. Moreover, the lamp I bought was evidently designed for an incandescent bulb, offering three different light in levels. With the cfl bulbs, only one setting would work; the bulbs would blink on and off on the other levels. This bulb works in the lamp, offering three different levels of illumination! It makes for a perfect adjustable night light now!

NOT DARKROOM SAFE!I used this one night for a printing session inside my bathroom. After a couple hours I noticed any paper I'd had out was turning gray with fog when put in the developer. It also completely exposed several sheets of x-ray film I'd cut down to fit my 4x5 film holders. Total waste.That said, it does seem to be safe for very particular processes. I've had no trouble using it to develop dry glass plates, ortho litho film, and most recently, wet plate collodion. But take the collodion part with a grain of salt because I'm new at it and I don't know if the fogging I did get was from overactive developer or this light bulb. Most likely my developer.

I never thought I would find a bulb for this and it is perfect. I ordered a 2nd so I would have it after the 1st came and I knew it worked.

Complete waste of money. It lasted being on about 6 hours a day…. For two whole days. Back to the drawing board.

Great little light bulb!I bought it to use in my lamps in my bay window for my Valentine's day decorations. It looks adorable!! It has a regular sized light bulb base and gives a beautiful red glow! I couldn't be happier!

I ordered this the very end of Nov 2017 and it's already burned out by April 2018. I LOVED this for the lamp in my daughter's room but took stars off for not lasting long. I WILL be ordering another, hoping the first one I got was maybe just a dud...keeping my fingers crossed

These bulbs were just what I was looking for, and at a great price! I was unsure if the pictured color (red) was the shade I was looking for, but it was. The brass base was alright as well.I would've liked the LED equivalents, but their prices and shipping were too expensive for my liking. The low wattage on the regular incandescents means savings in electricity will not outweigh the purchase costs.

We had a light above our bathroom door at the office that had been there for years and years! I started in 2000 and it had been in that spot way before I started. Well that light finally blew. I was so worried about EVER finding another one, but I found this one and it was PERFECT!! Packaged well, fast delivery! Would not hesitate to order again!
