These do a pretty good job in some rain and are reasonably durable for their weight. However, they soak out easily walking through wet grass after a rain or in heavy rain and you get wet still.The pocket is also in a terrible location. If you are wearing a backpack it's impossible to get to, and honestly without a backpack my flexibility could use some improvement if I was going to use it regularly.
